Are you still able to Respec? You won't get any Master Profession Badges untill after your Respec period has ended.

it doesn't matter how you get the boxes, any masters you have at the end of respec, you will get badges for.

wrong. has nothing to do with it. whereever you got that info should be shot. how many professions you do now has no impact.

the masters you are when respec ends are the profs you get badges for

I ground out Master Droid Engineer, Master Artisan and Master Merchant on an alt when the respec first started.

Now that my respec has ended I have neither badge. I'm on my 5th ticket concering my badges and it's looking like i'm just screwed, no big deal really as I did it with the sole intention of respeccing to a dual elite combat, it's just the point, I spent the time and money I should have the badges.

Just one more way of SOE saying "we don't care".

So you ground DE, MA and MM, then respeced? So you're saying that your respec period hadn't ended yet?

To set the record straight:

Master badges have been disabled until the respec period is over. At the completion of the respec period, you will be issued with any master badges for the master boxes you currently hold.

I had an alt that was basically a no0b, he had maybe 2 boxes of artisan. When I found out you could respec crafting skills I did DE MA and MM. Then I respecced to pure combat.

My respec period is now over and I have none of the crafting badges that I legitimately ground out. I only have the badges for the combat professions I respecced to.

On the flip side I have a character on another server that was already double elite combat. I respecced him every 12 hours on the dot to get badges. I ended up with quite a few badges I didn't work for before SOE disabled them (my free badges are still there, I checked after his respec period ended). Not that that really mattered either, I had already done 14 professions with him during the holo grind, I was just adding badges So i guess it's a wash.

You wont be able to get these badges as you obtained them during the respec period where no badges are issued. You did revceive badges for any Master Professions you had after your respec period ended.

Unfortunately thats just the way the system was implemented, if Master Badges had not been disabled during respec then players would have easy access to every badge.

I can see how you would be frustrated by this, butno amount of tickets to CSR's is going to help.

If they did this for you then the entire player base would have to be issued with Master Badges that they obtained through Respec, which would put a massive strain on Customer Service and make Master Profession badges worthless.
