Ok, i'm not sure how many of you are gamblers. However, if you're really in need of money, you can earn fast credits at the Jubilee wheels in the hotels and cantinas across the galaxy.
The nights i sit and play, i can earn on average about 1 million credits from these things. However, you have to be prepared to lose more than that on some nights.
It's a risk, but the rewards are very substantial when they come in

I've never noticed those games. Can anyone play, or do you have to be a certain race/class?

eh? you're talking about the fruit machines. don't bother with those, they're crap.
The Jubilee Wheels are like Roulette wheels. Found right by the fruit machines. Look like a big white table.
If you look, for example, in the Lucky Despot cantina in Mos Eisley, as you walk in the door, turn right and there's a table there. Or go left and out the back room, and there's many tables there.
Your max bet for each number is 10k i believe.
If you know how to play Roulette, you'll understand these pretty easily.

And a word, or a few, or advice:
If you lose 3 times in a row, then walk away. Don't try to win your credits back, just accept it as a bad day and walk away.
The more you try to win it back, the more you'll end up losing in the process. (i know this from experience. I lost every single credit i had at one point, it's not fun when that happens)

jubilee (and roulette) is very simple.
you be on any combination of numbers 1-36, 0 and 00, odd or even, black or red, and high or low.
betting on a number pays 35x your bet, betting on odd/even, black/red, or high/low pays even money. not sure about 0 and 00 but it should be 35:1.
to bet use:
/bet $$$ (wager type)
you can bet as many times as you want. there is about 2 minutes between spins so you should have plenty of time to get some in.
as far as i know you cant bet splits, streets, corners, columns, dozens, or any other standard roulette bets.
if you want to see the complete rules for roulette, google is your friend...

Sorry but i fail to see how playing roulette can be considered a legitimate way of making money.
As there is a 2% (or thereabouts) taking by the house on average you are never going to win in the long run.
Your time will be much more constructively used harvesting resources or doing missions for money.

I am trying this jubilee out. I started with 83000 credits, got up to 107k then withdrew all but 24k. I used the 24k to bet with and at the moment I am at 155k. Yes its slow and not very exciting, but I have a system that seems to make progress steadily though. I think you need money to make money with this game. If there was a jubilee with more than 10k max bet I would be able to pour it on eventually. So far my best winning spin brought 92.5k. Once I get enough built up I will bet more on fewer numbers, win less often but make more per win. I think 92.5k is most I can make right now. Bet 10k on one number and hit for 370k though. That is what I am shooting for. Once I have a million or so I can afford to bet say 10k every time on just one number. I will have to read a book or something though while waiting for the spins. It is much easier to make money as an eliter melee player, but this is cool in that you don't have to do anything much. I am thinking about making a character and not giving him any skills and just start out with 1 credit bets and see if I can make him a millionaire......lol. Well I am down to about 110k now, maybe I should stop at 100k. Throw that in the bank and come back another time.
