Read through the forums, jedi is getting nerfed to hell

is it worth grinding the fs skills, for days and days to play a proffession that is being systematicaly destroyed.

A good site for mmo fans

Thus sets off page after page of responses. Halfof which are honest and true: "You must download the trial and see for yourself." Some are "sky is falling" responses. One or two suspect some trolling and question how the OP is able to post here. And the remainder latch on to one of the questions and debate the topic until flying pigs return carrying the wayward cows.

Only you can answer that Mack. Depends on your reasons for wanting a Jedi. If you are grinding Jedi to be very powerful and take out anyone with ease. Well, you will be very disappointed. For me, I've always wanted a Jedi and am doing it for the role playing aspect of it. For me there is more to Jedi than just being powerful, so the decision is easy for me. Others that want a powerful template can find it without having any Jedi or Force Skills at all.

"There are a lot of different levels within that [profession], so the people who've been [working down the Jedi path] for a long time will be much more powerful than the people just coming up. We're still rewarding people for their loyalty over the years." - John Smedley

yeah, just cool stuff like last night, when i grouped and we did hig level content. Got in a bit of a tight spot. I turned on AI (avoid incap) and got all agrro on me, making the other members in the group able to heal and /burstrun, me following not far behind of course

As you said, just cool stuff nothing useful........

and since i dont think you will get it, i was being ironic.

Jedi have usefull skills of course, but every class has usefull skills in case you hadnt noticed.. Im a jedi myself and i love being able to hit with lightsaber and of course they are very good when used right, but every class is that.. Biggest difference between jedi and other is that jedi uses force power, while others only uses mind and action..

But is it worth it, only you can answer that question

They can nerf it all they want. I still will continue my grind toward Jedi. Like someone else above said I'm doig it more for the roleplaying aspect. If I wanted a powerful temp, I would join the other million MBH / MCM out there.

Hearing that Jedi is on a level playing field with the other combat profs makes it more appealing to me. I wouldn't want to be in the dominant profession. I enjoy the fact that I will have to attempt to elude BHs and other, more powerful Jedi. I'm doingit for the RP aspect too. You need to think about what your reasons are. Even if someone else thinks its worth it, doesn't mean you will. Just my $.02

i never meant cool stuff as in it doesn't do anything because i know it does, i have been jedi twice before. what i eamnt was when they do a skill it looks cool, jedi are supposed to be more powerful than any other profession, there shouldn't be so many jedi which my point being it is just another ordinary profession. why grind for 26 weeks to have a complete jedi when i can grind for 3 days and get uber weapons (cheaper than pearls) and destroy jedi's ?

the force grind is easy to do, it's just long which i thinkl is the wrong way to go about it. when i got my first jedi i was 1 of so few on bria which when people saw me with Aprentice Lightsaber Duelist above my head they were shocked to see a jedi, now all u get is wow another jedi /sarcasm off. The holocron way to grind the jedi was the best, maybe make it harder by when someone unlocks their jedi the whole holocron system resets so everyone has to start over, if that happened from day 1 there would be no more than 20 jedis per server today which in my eyes is how it should be, most of u are jedi so u will all probs just say ur wrong, thats bull, u don't know what ur talking about so all i can say is..... look outside of your benefit for just 1 second and see what others see.

ah, so you are one of those guys, crying about how you are not special anymore, and you should be the one of a select few that can have jedi.

meh, i aint going into that argument again.

I love having a full temp jedi, i have a glow stick sounds cool, looks cool, not very useful. Bascially my jedi a glorified noob tour guide, can make a WONDERFUL grind group for all the up-comin bh's to hunt me Other than this his only use is a few areas that are now jedi specific content, DWB and Vette. Those are rare runs though so for the most part he sits, unused for long periods of time.

My MBH/MDoc is FAR superior for actual hunting/gathering, for one thing he CAN gather, /harvest hide FTW.

To break it down, having a jedi is cool. For the most part though totally not worth the grind, if what you want is effectiveness get 6 trees in FS skills, do the paddy trials until you get the second toon then dont go any further. Mforce Crafting, Survival and Vehicle control make for a wonderful crafter and you have an extra 10 lots for harvs, factories and storage.

i do however totally recommend having a jedi if for no other reason than the cool factor, it's fun
