Has the difficulty of Mellichae increased with the new AI changes and publish 24? Can someone that has beaten him post pub 24 give a confirmation on this? It might be advisable to those that unlock this phase (myself included) to bring a friend or 2 with until someone can confirm on his new degree of difficulty. I will confirm myself when I get there, but I am waiting to do day 3 of the ranged defense quest, so I am 2 or moredays behind some other people.

Good luck getting to that point... I did unlock on (6 full trees) on monday and the system is now buged and everyone is NOT glowy so no old man
I hope they fix it but??????

Did him twice this morning, the first time was pretty easy with 3 Melees, 1 Jedi and me (Squad Leader/CM/Carbs). He wasn't a lot tougher then he's been the past couple of times I've fought him. The other time, I hadn't come back online when my guild started and they had trouble without the new Squad Leader buffs (similar group), but when I came out, it went as smoothly as it had that morning.
Overall, if you've got decent support and a Squad Leader, you should be good to go with a half team or a little more.

Check your badges with the OLD glowy prereq's. With the remaining time, try and get glowy the old way if you didnt before. Im pretty sure the Devs probably saw how easily people were getting glowy with the Mos Esiley badges. They prob made themnot count towards glowy and thus it would be 1 or more less badges you/others may have. I am also interested to see how this has affected one of my alts. He did not do any of the eisley badges but I have not been able to check his glowy status yet. Damn work.

I've been playing for a year.... never did the noob (for jedi) quests.... I have most of the content badges and have unlock all of the required FS trees.... so tell me what I need to grind now??????????

That's not it.
I know folks that have done it the old way ( Warrens ( both ), Corvette, and 2 Theme Parks)
And the new way ( noob quest, and gorax I think )
Both lost glowy with this, at least the inner glow.
What I'm beginning to suspect is that the Devs have changed the requirements to get Glowy at this point, they did that back in the Holocron grind too, it went from like 4 or 5 to 8 secretly. At the time there was no /che command so noone knew, however with the command it is much easier to detect now.
I'd say we need more content badges perhaps as many as 10, but that's a guess....dang if I could long on but stupid download is still going, I hate dialup sometimes.

I hope he's not much harder. I just trained my 6 braches this afternoon and am waiting on the old man. I went to kash to help some guildies with necrosis and he kick our a** but good and fast. Rooted and Choked who ever put a root on him and when you die you now have item decay. You also clone to the avatar platform unless you walk out to the landingbay then you go bacjk to kash.

You say you're on dial up. I can't stress enough the usefulness of cable or even broadband as I patch in a minutes tops. They might have made him harder with the new AIso you might end up bring alot more friends then you used to.

I bet this is the key. Maybe all the people who did Jabba's theme park are now mising that one content badge since there is no Jabba's theme park right now.
I wonder if anyone who didn't use Jabba's as a step to glowy is now not glowy... that would disprove it at least.

I dont think that's it. I have (had?) Jabba's themepark, but I have more than just 5 content badges and I still lost glowy.

I have over 75 badges and I have lost glowy too...I dont know what the hell is going on. All 6 trees filled and waiting for old man, but I doubt he will come now.

Yup logged my alt in after work yesterday and tried. Same status and he is all Pre Cu glowy. Not sure what is planned now but will prob cause all kinds of rumors to fly now
