I didnt think that growing this silly plant was going to be this hard. I've gotten my plant to grow and it reached Excellent health at one point. It stopped growing so i shifted the nutrients. It automatically went to withering and Very Good health. I've now changed my nutrients so that my plant simply isnt growing at all. What I was wondering is if anyone knows a good combination for growth? I've taken both nutrients and water up and down, but cant find the perfect combination to get my plant growing again...at all. =\

Also, if it doesnt have any growth at all, should it be ok in that state so at least it doesnt die?

Thanks!

what quest is this for?

To win in PVP one must cheat, exploitz, hackz, and above all, have other pals that do the same. Once the foe is defeated, then go "OMGZZZ UZZZ SUCZ, LERN TO PLAY"

And so forth!

I have a guild mate looking after mine and he uses the same ingredients in his plant as he does mine. For some stupid reason his is growing perfectly and mine is near death. So I dunno.

Firstly all plants are different, so doing the same thing as someone else won't necessarily work.

Secondly, what you want to do is find a setting that causes you to have good growth, and then keep it at that setting, however what you see on the update at any given time (Growth / Water / Food) isn't quite the accurate, the growth rate is based on the previous Water / Food combination. There is a thread that describes this all quite nicely here

Thanks for the clicky That was a pretty detailed guide! I'm still kinda testing around with mine though. I had found good settings for it, but a couple days into it growth stopped entirely. Back to the drawing board I guess =\

Can anyone tell me how to take care of an Aurillian plant?

Heya,

There are quite a few threads on this, some better than others. I'd suggest a forum search, just make sure you spell it right!

I picked up mine during the first cycle, and it has produced 6 fruit. I carry one on me, one at the house, 4 on the plant currently.

While I'll leave the nuances to the experts that have posted their extensive tomes on the subject, I can give you a quick set of basics.

Each plant is an individual, and demands to be treated that way. As such, the food and water requirements of each is completely different. What works for one plant may kill another. As a matter of fact, I hope you read this soon as some people's plants lasted only a day or two!

Each plant requires food and water, as well as time. I recommend placing your plant in a low-traffic area. As each plant updates when it loads, the fewer times it loads the fewer times it updates, the fewer times you will need to deal with food/water issues. If you want it to grow to large in a day or two, consider placing it in a high-traffic area to watch closely before you move it.

You add water or 'nutrients' to affect changes, nutrients are any type of organic food resources. You will notice you can add water (for example) twice before the status changes. Mine works best when the water level is 'Normal' and the nutrient is 'Below Normal'. This gives it a growth rate of 'Slow' to 'Below Normal'. I haven't been gutsy enough to fiddle with it any more to try to find a different growth rate. As long as the growth rate is positive, it will grow to 'Aurellian Plant' then to 'Large Aurellian Plant'. At the large level it grows fruit. Mine had slightly different requirements at each level. Feel free to experiment, shoot me a message if you have any further questions. Again, check the forums, a lot of people have written a great deal about this subject!

not exactly true, in my experience....

since I didn't want mine to update too frequently, I came up with the "clever idea" of putting my plant on my sorosuub yacht -- brilliant, I thought... nobody can get at it but me, so it'll only update under my strict control....

turned out to be a bad move... somehow, it updated anyways and I nearly lost it

so, I put it in my group's private crafting house, and made a point of checking it daily. it was slow, but it grew from small to medium to large, with the health rating hitting the peak. then, when it hit large, it started wilting on me and is now near death oh, and still no fruit

considering the difficulty in getting the damned thing in the first place, it shouldn't be this much of a pain in the bottom to "use" it...

probably. I have noticed that if you place it somewhere, like in a house for my instance, that it will "eat and drink", even if you aren't there for a couple of days. If you leave it in your inventory then it won't. I suppose it would be the same for your bank deposit box. My example was I gave it to my alt and it sat in her inv for over a week and nothing ever happened to it. Hope that helps

yeh that helped! i wanted to know of a way to store it without taking care of it. If i can keep it in my bank indefinately, or till i am more active that is good!

Sorry for noob question, but what does the plant do? I never found a list of the benefits of the fruits or their duration. Is this worthwhile?
