is it true that when we finish the village quests and become padawan we unlock a second character slot?

How far into the jedi thing do you have to go to get the second char slot? I DON'T want to be a jedi. But it would be nice to have that extra character.

I need some proof- ie a link or something. I've found nothing that says I would lose the second slot for dropping my FS skills.

you must get to Jedi padawan to receive the second character slot. That means you need to complete the village grind, get the 6 FS branches (at a cost of 24 SP), kill Mel, and do the padawan trials. If you ever drop Jedi, or the FS skills required to unlock, you lose all the benfits, including the second toon.

you can't drop jedi or FS skills (unless you get your 7th branch then you can drop one of your old branches), so you pretty much will ALWAYS have that extra character slot unless you delete your jedi

You sure about that? I had heard you didn't lose the second toon. Can you show anything to confirm that?

was that after you already had 6th and just got your 7th?

if not then it as unkown to me that you could entirely drop that you were force sensitive

I mean I had two lines of FS already and dropped one because I didn't want it.

Once U become jedi Padawan, you cannot drop prior force sensative skills...You cant go back and take away those 6 original branches that you put xp into...therefore, you will ALWAYS be force sensative with that character no matter what...

The only thing you can do from here is delete this FS character, which in turn, deletes your alternate toon...

So the answer is NO. You cant do that, you must either have a Jedi and an alt, or just 1 character....

Ahh. So it's once you become padawan that you can't drop them.

That's pretty lame.

It's this way for a reason: Jedi are hunted! Occasionally you might wanna play without constantly looking over your shoulder for the Bounty Hunters. So it's not so much "A 2nd char slot reward!!!" it's "you poor poor Jedi... here ya go! (2nd char slot)"
