Thread: Advice on Phase 1 patrols for Sargullo

I did my first 10 patrols in 2 hours and the next day I did 10 more for the Aurillian Banner...
Head out to any one of the patrols, you will get a variety of actions once you reach a patrol.
You will get onscreen messages (turn on on screen messages!).
You will either get "everything seems calm" Keep driving to the next one.
Or you may encounter one, two or three Sith. If you encounter one two or three Sith, YOU MUST jump off your bike and kill them or you will fail.
Once you kill all of the Sith, proceed to your next patrol waypoint where you will receive your next RANDOM notification.
You will also get the message "you happen upon a raid forming party" this is the one that has MORE THAN THREE Sith and is to be AVOIDED at all costs. NOT just for common sense reasons (which some in this forum and the FAQ have alluded to) but also it is required for you to NOT engage them.
If you read your quest journal you will see more specific direction.
So, you must kill all encounters three or less and drive IMMEDIATELY away from Raid Parties and "everything seems calm"'s.
If you drive too far away from parties of three or less YOU WILL FAIL
If you engage and kill any "Raid Parties" you will fail.
If you die at any time you will need to go back and reset the mission (because when you clone you will technically be too far away from the WP)

Thanks alot, I was fighting the raiding parties.I was wondering why they were sooooo much tougher than the rest of the encounters and whyI was failing when I beat everything.

Ihave been having a problem with my patrols not being counted.I will complete a circuit of 8 wps and whenI return it seemsI have made a mistake. Does anyone have any info on what would make a patrol unsuccessful.I am on my 17th of the 20 for the banner but, i'll bet i have done 25 patrols.I requirehelp to get past the raiding parties so this has been getting sort of annoying to me and those who have helped me.

Just remember not to kill the points that have more then 3 siths there. If there is more you go back to the village if there is 3 or less you kill them.

SakeO - another thing to be aware of is when you approach the raiding parties, you need to "scout" out the strength of the force until the WP disappears. I made the mistake of simply getting to the WP, started getting shot at and took off for the next WP. I failed every time because I hadn't stayed around long enough to assess the party. Basically I just "flew around" the party repeatedly on my swoop (armored and buffed of course) until the WP vanished and then I headed for the next one. Had no more problems after I did that.

All set now, I have my banner. I could easily deal with the one , two and three man groups but, remainingprepared enough to take out the raiding parties was a little rough, especially when defeating them was counterproductive.

No wonder I was failing. I would stop and kill them all. But I did finsh the quest and I did get the banner.

i have to object to the raiding parties. I for one have killed the parties more times then i care to admit and I have never missed a wp or had the mission incompleat on me I am 5/10 for the banner. The only one i ever missed was were I got the message and turned my bike and the wp didnt go away even though the arrow did. So needless to say i couldnt get back to the wp without the arrow and i was too far away to see the light so i had to restart it. I killed the raiding parties cause i saw it as a good chance to get xp and loot.

you're lucky.
Took me a while before I actually checked the quest info in the quest journal.
If you read it it will tell you that any party greater than 3 shouldn't be engaged, as dead parties cannot give information. They don't care about the stragglers.

16500 meters on rough terrain for the last mission, guh, thats one expensive banner. Quite boring too.
