I swear I remember way back when they changed how sabers worked they mentioned something about being able to re-tune crystals that were wearing down same as a non-jedi class does for their weapon.

Am I out of my mind? did they never say this? have they simply not implimented it? will it come in pub 10?

I ask this cause I have a couple 43-48 damage -9 fc crystals that are like at 4/981 that I have sitting in my house in the hopes that I will be given a chance to salvage them.

Am I hoping for not? should I use them till they totally vanish or is there a flicker of hope in the distance?

Anyone who has any info as always would be much appreciated

The devs wont give out any information about anything. And if they did it would most likely be wrong because they know nothing about the game themselves

I believe I remember hearing originally that we could repair our Sabers with innate-skills or whatever. Obviously this system doesn't need that... I dunno what they repleaced it with.

Just wondered how many crystals people have banked ready for their start on the jedi path.

I just counted mine up and got 129 damage, is that good? bad? i got no idea. Thanks

Both Accounts cancelled, money better off invested in CoH

I would have to say that is awfull!

you have only got 129 damage crystals!!

I guess you dont really know if 129 crystals are any good untill u tune them!

hope you get some good tunes from them

Personally you don't really need crystals while grinding. If you have quality and below then sure go for it but i'd save all the premiums and close to premiums for your PvP saber. Just my opinion though as other may disagree.

I have exactly 0 color and 0 damage crystals. I have killed a large number of supposed crystal-dropping mobs (mostly jantas and mokks) on two different characters on two different servers and have yet to loot a single crystal on either one. Sad, eh?

yeh I got 4 crystals all together

1 color crystal from one of the phase rewards

2 looted colour crystals from npc's on lok

and 1 bought colour crystal.

no power crystals yet but am gonna keep looking

i got a while till i need the power crystals so i aint worrying about it yet

I never lose! I may just be a little behind when the time runs out ! ! !

Eh, I think I probably have like 10 color crystals and like 4 damage crystals, a twin-cluster :-o ,and 2 pearls (quality).

I've got blue, red, purple, yellow, brown/orange, green. yeah, i think that's aboutit. should be enough for me to have some fun.

Have 4 color crystals on hand. Unless your picky about coordinating your accessories they can be any color.

Buy or loot 10 clear damage crystals of fair quality. odds are you will get two or three decent tunes that will satisfy you for some time.

Don't pander to those who think that you need to purchase premium crystals at ludicrious pricesto compete. If you have a master combat profession now go hunting for them now if you really want them or wait until you get knight to hunt them on your own.

Go kill Nightsisters. They drop them and better quality ones too :0). Don't have to be elders for them to drop a crystal.
