Thread: Not your usual free unlock question please help

you definitely get all the xp required for the tree if its a free unlock, i remember getting my 6 free unlocks... oh that was a long wait coming...

Ok, everyone, I know you're probably getting tired of answering questions from people about how to get the free unlocks. This is NOT one of those questions.
I ground out 16 professions during the holo grind, which earned me 4 unlocks.I did not claim right away because I was tired of grinding,but when I went back to the village later they were not available to me. They were lost due to a bug of some kind. I finally was able to get a CSR to unlock my 4 free branches today, but he is saying that no xp was supposed to be given with the free unlocks to level up the boxes in those branches right away.
I know this isn't true...I watched a friend claim his 3 free branches and remember him being able to train those skill boxes right away because he was given the xp for the branches at the time he selected them. I also remember warnings being posted to let people know they needed to train the skills from one unlock before selecting the next, otherwise they might lose xp.
So who is right - me and my memory, or the CSR? I need to know so I can get this issue resolved once and for all.
Please be honest, and please do not flame me, because I will be emailing the link to this post to the CSR so he can see for himself what other people got when they claimed their free unlocks. And thank you, in advance, for your help.

The reason I am posting it here as well as in the Force Sensitive forum is I'm pretty sure a lot of people that would remember this time frame look more at the Jedi forum than the Force Sensitive forum.

you aight remember when i got my 5 free unlocks it also gave me the exp needed for those branches.

I got 5 free trees and the corresponding xp to train in those trees. The CSR is wrong. Good luck.

Hey. Valid question. No one should flame ya for it. When i picked up a free unlock it gave me roughly 1.2 mill fs exp as well to train it. So I would assume you are due the exp, thats what the unlocks are for, I mean who wants a free unlock and no exp. The unlock is easy; the exp isnt.

i would file a ticket as fast as you can and if you can remember include the name of the csr who gave you the unlocks so they dont try any funny buisness.

Exactly what they said. My 2 free unlocks I took, then I trained in them, and I still had all the xp needed. I actually had enough xp to go 2 free trees and the first of a 3rd tree which I had just unlocked. Hope the CSR gets his facts straight in the future.

you're supposed to get quite a bit FS xp of the needed kind
50k (novice box) + 175k (tier 1) + 250k (tier 2) + 350k (tier 3) + 450k (tier 4) = 1.275 million FS xp
