Can you place more than one crystal in a LS and if so do they have to be the same color and does this increase stats on LS?

you need one color crystal per lightsaber. depending on the generation you can add more damage crystals. training sabers you cant add any, first gen you can add 1, 4th gen you can add 4. you can figure out the 2 in between.



hate the nge... but i lurk. one day maybe things will be fun again. until then soe/la dont get none of my moneys.

i thought twin force crystals nolonger work? (or are in game?)


crystal quality varies - higher quality = higher price, but doesnt garantee high damage/speed as you have to tune it and that is a risky business

You need 1 Color crystal to use a saber. Once you make a Generation saber you can add 1 damage (clear) Crystal per Generation type. (i.e. 1st Gen=1, 4th Gen = 4)


The diffrnece between crystals is or was the quality. Only Jedi Innate or higher can "read" a crystal. I've heard that the quality doesn't matter much anymore. I do know that Pearls tune better then crystals. Seen a pearl tune at +45 damage.

They work but they no longer drop (as far as I know). The one you find are prollypre pub 9. They will not act like 2 singel nor give

a better tune. Its only the name that is different.

They are the white "clear" crystals

Thanks for info...just found a vendor selling twin force crystals...they look clear. But the prices vary alot, but i can't see why...they range from 200K - 900K. Any idea why?

when can you start making like generation 1 sabers, how long do you have to stick with the trainer, if at all

Each box under the ls tech treegives a cert for a higher gen saber. Box 1-gen1 Box2-gen2.......

^^^ Not the case. The certs come in the branch your are training in. For instance 1st gens all come at Novice LS, 2nd gen 1-hand comes at 2xxx, 2nd gen 2-hand at x2xx and 2nd gen polearm at xx2x. The 3rd gens come at the 4th tier and 4th gens at Master.

Are their any particular mobs that are preferred for dropping crystals? I've heard Mokks and Janta's on Dantooine.

Janta's, Mokks, Tuskens, Nightsisters, are the ones i've gotten them off of. The issue is their quality. I would suggest Nightsisters as they usually drop better crystals then the others but it's been awhile since i've gone out hunting them.


As far as Saber questions i saw earlier.


Training Saber - Used before Novice LS and can hold only 1 Color Crystal.


1st gen Saber - Obtained at Novice LS and can hold 1clear/pearl crystal 1 Color. You can make 1st gen DB,2h,1h at this level.


2nd gen Saber - Obtained at 2nd level box of Saber typedtrained. Holds 2 clear crystals/pearls 1 color.


3rd gen Saber - Obtained at 4th level box of Saber type trained. Holds 3 clear crystals/pearls 1 color


4th gen Saber - Obtained at Master LS. Holds 4 clear Crystals/pearls 1 color. You can make 4th gen DB,2h,1h at this level.


Techniques tree gives u your Saber block and Experimentation points in making LS's along with a couple specials.
