Yep, sorry, but I have a warm fuzzy now, so I would like to share that yours truly has made Master Weaponsmith all by my lonesomewhile being just acasual gamer (took me long enough though).
LMAO...I thought I would be done with running46516479146artisan missions but I just made a list to get me started...holy cow...looks like I cant stop running yet...and after all those painful wrist hurting hours...well at least I can hit NumLock and read the forums to keep me busy...haha

hey you must be my alter ego on another server. I'm a casual gamer climbing up the weaponsmith tree with a Master Artisan and Novice carbineer title. Did you also get some Merchant skills? How far did u go with that? What about your Scout skills? I'm just going to keep my exploration skills.

heheh...I actually dont have any other skills besides those listed...I am going for Master Carbineer and that will eat up almost every last skill point.

This is not another complaint about the Sith Commander quest. It's just an experience I'd like to share.
The last time I logged out it was a few hundred meters from one of the bases, Lamda to be exact. Knowing the next time I'd have a better chance of not having to wait around a camped base. Well i log in at 4:30 a.m. cst. Of course being the time, nobody was around. So I head toward the base. After a few mishaps with the turrets I take both down, along with the Sith thugs, and the inside turret. In there i took down the base as well. By the time I get to the commander its about 5:30 a.m. So Im thinking i got an hour. Well about 15 min of walking I get a Message "You have 15 min to log before system restart." Now i know what your're thinking. "Whats wrong with this guy he shouldve known about that and why did he even start." Well i thought i had plenty of time before the restart. And I would've completed it if i wouldnt have died three times against the turrets. I was about 1000 meters away when the connection was lost.
The reason i wanted to share this was not to complain. With all of the bugs, i still managed to SOLO this mission to 1000 meters from the village. My guess is that if i wouldve started 15 min before, there would be no doubt that i couldve finished.
So to all the people who complain saying "the mission is impossible with all the bugs." Get over it. It's very possible and quite easy (with the right amount of time, of course.)

Wow dude.... we are like opposite sides of the coin for tonite. I probably know how you felt when you saw that server shutdown message pop... but my luck ran a little farther than I have seen it lately.... what server you on?

Yeah, that's pretty nuts. I've heard some funny stories from my server as well. A few people have literally had their Sith Commander kill himself within a stone's throw of the Captain. And I heard of one instance where the village turrets were glitched and considered the Sith Commander an enemy. They all ended up shooting him to death and screwing up the mission for the poor guy... lol.

I'm on Eclipse. When it said "15 min remaining" i was about 2k from the village. I knew there was no way i could make it. But i tried anyway just to see how long it takes to walk. I averaged about 1km for every 15 min. and the base was 3k away. SO the extra 15 min wouldve helped or not dying from the turrets would be nice too.

Ahhh... I am on Ahazi.... I was about 1km away when the message popped. so the 15 minutes per 1km is right on target. Sucks about the turrets... you killing them by hand? or using a probe droid?

It's been so long since i ran into a server reset. How long do they usually last these days?

not sure... thinking back i don't think they lasted long than an hour... so should be soon

I was using MBH rifle. with some med skills. id alternate adv critical shot and bacta spray about 60m from one turret making sure i wasnt in the the sight of the other. I wouldve been fine but i got too close and some Siths aggroed me and then the turret got me.

ahhhhh.... I am not ranged so I had to use my trusty probe droid... had to dust him off a bit.. but worked like a charm... heh

The funny thing was that i was more worried bout my CPU goin crazy on me than something in the game. I was looking at my system monitor and it said CPU temp = 95C. And i didnt want to shut down because i was already on my way back. The thing is that it usually doesnt get above 70C even when im play SWG
