Thread: Dont Dispair I may have a solution: Solo Grouping
For example:
- If you solo a creature then you get 6000 experience.
- If I solo a creature then I get 6000 experience.
- If we group and kill two creatures together, then we get 3000 experience per creature each (6000xp total), plus an additional bonus amount of experience because we are grouped (and two of us together can kill those two creatures more quickly than we could have solo'd one each).
SOLO GROUPING
How does this sound. Will it work. Can two players attack a bol for example ungrouped and still earn the same amount of xp.If u can this will work. But hunting can get out of hand. For it to be effective this is what is required.
A group of 8 players joining at MO
1 leader an experienced player who knows the game well and can pull.
The leader then disbands the group at the mission.
He then pulls a bol for example and each player hits the bol at least once. (provided this hasnt been nurfed)
Once the lair is done 1 group macro which the leader runs that automatically targets players within that group inviting them to join.
The players excepting.
The group moving on to the next mission.
Rinse and repeat.
What this will do is allow players to effectively earn solo xp at a rate that is as fast as group xp without the penalty of 1/8.
Questions, comments anyone? Otherwise enjoy.
I thought only the person/group that done majority of damage get xp...
Hmm, yes, that could even make AOE-ing possible that way, ...but theres just one thing, Jedi would get great VIS :S

At the time of writing i did consider the jedi and how this would affect their visibility. Thats why i posted it in the Force Sensitive forums. Unfortuntaly if this were to work it would be a risk for jedi they would gain visibility. The other thingisxp may be givento the player who does the highest dmg outside of the group but im not a 100% as i have not tested this. What if there were4 groups of 2. Would this be a better solution. Or would it be the same thing. The group who has done the highest dmg would earn the xp in that situation. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas as how to combat this.

Not gonna work, the person who does most damage gets the XP when everyone is ungrouped.
Fixed and correct

we have officially returned to pre-cu...except we dont have lightsaber damage, buffs, or any of that cool stuff...
Not to mention squills just don't cut it now
What you can do is form your group, take your missions and disband once everyone has their lairs. There will be more critters around it since the group was large when the group is formed.
Downside to this would be that unless everyone in the group grinds at the same speed, you will either be waiting for them to head back to reform the group or looking around for another group.
I suppose a group of eight enterprising players could spawn lairs and sell the waypoints to people...
