Just thought I'd start a new thread to let everyone know that according to Tiggs in the Feb. 9 Issues Report that the Phase 4 quest bug is being investigated.
Here's the link:

I know several people have mentioned this piece of information, but they've all wound up being submerged in the sea of other threads. I thought it'd be a good idea to keep this one high on the Forum for a few days, so keep it bumped up.

True. But any information is better than no information. Wouldn't you agree?
Besides, it gives me a chance to practice my newly-discovered clicky-crafting skill! PHEAR ME NOW! I AM UBER!(which rhymes with "Goober"...)

How long did it take to solve the rubberbanding bug? Maybe we can use that as an estimate on how long it will take to fix this bug.

That has already been discussed about how long it took the rubberband issue. It was actually players' that isolated the problem and helped the dev team fix that. And no it has already been about 5 days and nothing. Only a couple of days for rubberband issue.

Yes, from me too. I would be glad, I would be able to help this way with the current phase 4 bug.

I think that it's completely out of order the lack of information they give about major bugs. A day to day update doesn't take anytime at all. Just a simple message like "Sorry guys no phase 4 fix today, we are still investigating the bug. We think it may be due to blah blah blah" etc
I just hate being kept in the dark.

I totally agree with what is being said. I really believe the development team is completely disregarding basic communication when issues such as these are involved. However there are theever so present posts about how great the new posters and the new loots such as incredible new broken datapads or the odd valentine's day contest (yeah how brilliant is that?) all over the place. This is not about the bug anymore, nor the fact that we can't finish our fs journey, no it is all about a minimum of respect and stopping hiding behind the poor csr's who have to take all the criticisms in and try to chill us out. This is just so easy and, beyond simply complaining, something needs to be done about this. I read somewhere certain comments from boy scouts arguing against us because we are frustrated and have no reason to complain, and that the devs are working on other things. Tp them I say you're right they're working on other things, but my point is not to fix the bug in the next couple of days but to issuea statement letting us know what is going on, surely they must have an idea by now on the nature of this bug, plain and simple let us know and you'll see less bitterness in the posts and people will appreciate they're given credit for their patience.
Nevertheless hang in there pals :-)

This would be a good spot to post a link to a great article on the *right* way to post a bug report. Check it out!

Have you heard what was causing the rubber-banding?
