[ Help] How to base your choices on which FSBranch you want to go up:

- First of all most people wonder whatbranch should they go up. it does not matter too much in your performance in combat. It does help for that little kick but not a severe noticeable change. Tactics wise the defenses and melee accuracy are the best, especially for Jedi because a Light saber is a melee weapon. Though it does not really help it is one that you could benefit from the most... Next basically they do not matter in the fact that their not too much help so picking which ones you want to do is mostly all about convience, choice, and what you feel as though you want to do. They all require the same amount of xp and the missions can be balanced pretty well at times.

-Now a good reason to pick a specific tree is for the great rewards you receive such as: the mind buff crystal, the banner, necklace, etc. These can play a tole in which one you pick so what reward you get for each quest will be a great help for you to decide which one you want to do if you just can't decide.

If rewards is your master, it really really won't matter then because you can do quests for phases that you don't plan to use. I for one do not have tthe kind of time to have a whole tree finished by the time the next phase comes around so i'm shure I'll have an oppertunity to do the quest and recive the rewards for boxes I'll never use.

Only question I have is am I wrong to asume that you are highly FS ranked Jedi Knight who speaks with such authority on the issue - from personal experience...? Or god forbid a newb lazy to wait for the phase 4 to come arround next time and throwing in his 2 cents worth of opinion - but forgeting to notice that small piece of info...?

In any case I think they only think we know for sure - is there is no way for us to know for sure what and when will the Devs decide to fix, when it comes to FS skills (like most of this game anyway, JTL, Combat Balance, etc.), from Malee speed to Persuasision...

My only other question is why do you feel the need to write guides about things you have no clue about? FS system is part of the Jedi revamp - the path to Jedi. Picking wrong FS skills is ireversable way to forever gimp your Jedi.

i would go both defense ones, both melee acc and speed to help the LS, and both combat ones to help the crafting of the LS

Both defense branches are the only ones that would be beneficial to a Jedi. As was stated in other threads, melee speed/acc does not apply to a lightsaber. Thus, it's best going for nice "perks" such as vehicular control, persuasion, or melee acc either because it'll have at least some merit or the reward is worth it.

Acually...the melee speed and accuarcy do apply to Lighsabers...Me and my friend both have the exact same LS (training) and crafted with the same speed, but I'm faster since I completed the melee speed upgrade tree

Back to square one - like I said, please try to dish out advice only if you actually tested this like the poster above, not throw in your opinions and gut feelings - without a disclaimer.
