OK so I take out 10 nades with 5 uses each, these nades 200-836 3.4 speed. I was thinking I would be able to take out a whole Huurton Stalker lair with 50 uses but I guess not. I had to take the rest of the lair with TK.

to tell you the truth, sounds about right for C12s. i used 4-5 nades on baz niches with 1200-2400 damage imp detonators...
lets see... you are hitting say, average 500 dmg... stalkers have about 9K HAM and you hit a random pool... it would take about 18-20 uses to killl just the first 5 stalkers... sorry bro, c12s are a pain... get commando if you are going to get serious about it ![]()
sorry about the "math" its the end of the day and i truthfuly dont want to...

Try to get faster grenades, around the 2.7 range, and then go after stuff that has NO blast resists, like perleks. You'll find the xp comes quicker, even when the critters are worth less xp each. I cap 900K unarmed +90K combat in usually just about 2 hours in the squill cave, then fill up the additional 210K combat xp to capin an hour to an hour and a half on Lok bombing perleks. I get about 900-2500 combat xp from each perlek depending on type when I have a sword (uncertified) equipped and grouped with my droid. I usually end up using2-3 grenades or so per spawn, with 2 initial spawns of the lair and then coming back for the third. Problem is, it's gotten harder to just focus on the lairs, what with the increased NPC spawn, I have to keep switching to VK to kill all the pirates around the lair I aggro. Great for looting, lousy if you're trying to grenade lairs.
This method gets me 130K FS xp in a buffsession, not too badfor someone who doesn't want to drop everything to be a commando.

Are you throwing them at the lair? Before i was attacking just the mob that would come up to me but i would take forever and have a lot of misses, but when i started targeting the lairs it seemed to have a higher chance of hitting most of the mob
. I'm currently using imp detonators cause i ran out of thermals
.
Right now i can cap my combat xp twice per buff session so i'de say i'm doing pretty good.

Make it easier on yourself and save the grenades..
"tap" the lair once and kill every mob that spawns (sometimes harvesting their corpses helps them spawn faster)
Then the lair will go into "over damage" mode so each grenade can do 3 to 5k damage to the lair. I do this and spend a ton less grenades and get plenty of combat exp for the effort.

I get roughly 30L-40K combat xp per lair.. but i may use more grenades.
I just goto nest in a biiig group.. the lev 200+ missions are best.. more per spawn and more out when u get there.
I do Huurton Stalkers because there are 5-6 out on arrival.. I then kick the nest and try to get it halfway before I stop hitting it..
I end up with 12-15 Stalkers on me at once and I just throw grenades til they have [ ] <== that much or less health I get about 4700-5000 combat xp per kill.
I usually cap in 4-5 missions.
Thats what works for me.
Good Luck

I do the same with just C12s and no commando skills.. I could probably cap myself even 3 times per buff, but its a pain to get missions and the travel to the village an back takes also some time.
cheers

What I do is take two missions and go to the first one. Usually I made about 50k combat xp from the Baz Nitches. I then peace the lair and move to 2nd mission. Do the same there, kill all spawns. Then return to the 1st mission. An even better spawn is now there. Kill them, then the lair. Return to 2nd mission and do the same.
I get 220k combat xp from just 2 missions. I then take 1 mission and kill all spawns. Head to vilage and convert xp. Then return to mission and kill spawns and lair. You then have between 60k-80k combat xp. Then get your two missions from the outpost as normal.
And repeat.....this beauty of a tip was on here a while ago, so I take no credit for this tip.
Edit:- Always target the lair and "go inside" the lair. The radius of your nades will take out more spawns that way.
