Hello as a newly born fs type i did the whip quest but unlike the wise peeps who read what to do i did it not knowing that i unlocked the vehicle control branch is the brach good for anything i hear you can turn on a dime but if you cant combat on a bike whats that good for?also are the 3 focused crystals i have health 1 phase 3 has mind does any branchquest giveaction ?also if you do the phase 3 quest does a non fs parnet count as a partner so you can get both crystals? see im new all kinds of questions

1.- Your bike will turn better and run faster. Good reasons to get this:
a) You will get faster to your missions while you grind.
b) You will make your runs to Aurilia faster.
c) When you do your padawan trials, you will have to go to force shrines far from cities.
d) Easier to win the race record badges.
2.- There is no action crystal, at least that I know of.
3.- You need a fs partner to get the mind crystal. Both of you need to take the mission from Capt. Sarguillo.
a) One of you needs to take the shield down and kill the thugs.
b) The other one has to get the Sith Commander to the city.
Its important that each of you does one of the things, because if you dont you wont get the cystals.

Ok, can anyone clarify this further?
Because I have only heard that vehicle control DOES NOT increase vehicle speed.
So does it or does it not increase vehicle speed?

I've heard both sides of the story... some say the see a diff others don't.... but I will assume that is works as the DEV's intended. 
btw.. my friend has it and he swears that it works on speed - hills - turns...... I have yet to try this one out...

I have it, and the result is that the vehicle turns faster, accelerates faster and overall runs faster. I dont know if it runs faster because when you find bumps it recovers the speed faster, or if the speed is increased "per se", but the end result is you run faster.

It accelerates and turns faster, max speed is not improved. It jus appears so because you recover from hills and such at a faster rate.

I can confirm this because I have trained the enitre vehicle control tree.
Faster acceleration definately!
Faster Max speed - NO, just accelertation
Sharper Turning - Definately sharper turning! I can see a tremendous difference in weaving in & out of the tree's on Dath.
I can't stand playing my alt which doesnt have vehicle control, I'm so used to the responsive turning it makes me want to get it for my alt, LOL.
Is it worth it? I think so, besides the +2000 health buff crystal isn't bad either! NO, it doesn't stack w/doc buffs! It's been tried & I even tested that myself DOES NOT STACK.

I finished this tree and then went and tested it at arrakeen with some guildies, we defined a track and raced.
1) you accellerate like a madman!
2) you turn on a dime!
3) you go no faster than anyone else, but 1+2=big advantage.
in summary I won every race because off acceleration and turning.

accelleration is a dream on dath, with all the hills and so on.. trust me

Ive had it since last phase 2, and i can say it does NOT make your speed greater, however since the recovery time after slowing down on hill is faster, if i took a person with vehicle control and one with it, the person with it would probably make it to the destination a little faster, but damn it is cool hehe. I get sick to my stomach when i log on my crafter and hes slow as a fart.
