Once you have trained the 6 trees (24 boxes) do you have to do anything to get the old man to come to you again? or does he do it automatically, because upon training the 24th box all it said was i had trained in it, nothing about completing the village quests

Once you finish all six trees you do NOT get any message telling you of "success" or "finishing" grind.
Simply drive back to outpost, shuttle somewhere nice, find a quiet spot in the wild, or player city, put your feet up, and kick back and smile your arse off, your FS grind is done. Then wait for the old man, he will come.

yeah but thats an interesting grind, filling up force jedi skills and waving a saber about the place, i would imagine being a jedi and grinding skills would be more interesting to me than wanting to be a jedi and grinding the $h!t fs skills.

besides once you have done the fs grind you know once, you start grinding again, its the last time you do it, whereas doing the fs grind you know once you finish you still got a heap to go

Even nearing the end of the FS grind managed to get me focused on getting it over and done with ... 600k FS Sense XP in a single day isn't much fun.

You get the old man in about 24 hours after you filled your 24 boxes. Before that it is of no use going out in wilderness or shuttling around. When it is time he will come after avout 15 minues after login or shuttling.
I was just going to do the Imp themepark when not one, but two Old Men showed up lol. Was just going to click on the first NPC when they arrived. Only one worked though

Dunno if the Jedi grind will be more interesting or not -- it likely will because you'll be getting new skills to play with with each box, not just passive bonuses, and of course the whole cat and mouse visibility game. However long it is, however, it has merit in NOT REQUIRING ME TO DRIVE TO THE VILLAGE AND BACKEVERY3 HOURS. At least you know your trainer will be near a SHUTTLEPORT.

just wait i thought jedi would be a much funner grind too the first few weeks was a bit more interesting but by time i heading towards my first lvl 4 box needing 1.6 mil exp for an getting a big 700 exp per kill 10k per lair avg. about 75k per hr it really starts to suck ive had my jedi now for about 2 months and i have played my alt way more lol

Ignorance?.... My reply was a question.... I was hoping JK grind is not as big as FS grind. thats all...

The Jedi grind is worse than the grind to get there.
But screw that. I just want the second character slot. I don't care about bing a Jedi. FS grind is bad enough.
