Thread: med xp cannot be used anymore?!?!?!

I just finished the phase 2 senses quest only to find out that the ways to earn seses xp have changed. medical xp is no longer an option. Is this a bug for today or has it been changed due to everyone (including me) healing and rezing in the village for massive/fast xp?

all I can say is........your an idiot. I can't tell which is worse, someone acting like a noob and not knowing it or someone who is a idiot.....and not knowing it??????

I completely can't see why you'd call the replying poster an idiot. Which makes you an idiot in my books.
Besides maybe they added code that checks, when you go to talk to Paemos, if you've conducted 50 thousand rezzes in the last 24 hours then doesn't give you the option. Moron.

This post was an error on my part and I will explain why...
Apparently, if you have no xp in a catagory, it is not listed when you go to convert with paemos. I have never noticed this because it always seems as if I have 1-10 xp in every catagory that is not enough to convert, so it just stays there.
As far as giving myself away, you better believe that I will take an opprutunity to save some time on this grind. If I am wrong for doing so, then so is everyone else. The loser is the one who does not take advantage of ways to improve this grind. This includes the camping, the nades, and everything else. I do not cheat and I do not exploit, but I will take advantage of opprutunities to save time if I can.

uhh... isn't that just another way of saying your exploiting for xp....i dont cheat but i will gain xp by doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! congrats man... i hope you make a fine jedi

1. Tell me you never used a tumbler for grinding doc.
2. I have not found a post from a dev stating that this is an exploit.
3. Is this not what med students do in RL? They practice the same skills over and over again on plastic dummies, cadavors (sp?), each other, etc... Why do they do this? To get experience to become more skilled in their professions and advance, just like in swg.
4. If you dont like it, too bad. As long as it is legal, its not your buisness. On that note, find a friend, date, better job/life, etc... so you will have something worth while and rewarding to do with your sad little life so you will not have time to bother with me. The fact that you have time to respond to a post that has nothing to do with you truely makes me feel sorry for you.
Based on reasons stated in #4, I do not have the time nor the energy to go back and forth with you, so I will not be responding to this thread anymore. With that in mind, assuming you have not taken my advice in #4 regarding improving yourself yet, it looks like I am giving you the last word, so feel free to flame away

knucklehead, its like getting pulled over for speeding then telling the cop you were drinking when he didnt ask.
Camping [cry] nades , thats how commandos get xp anyway so its not cheating,.....but you know what, this isnt even worth it. good luck to you, i hope you go dark.

I don't really get it. Was he purposefully going around stealing rez & healing xp that other players would normally be sharing? Or was he just running a macro with a partner or alt? If it was the former then yeah that sucks & he should be thoughtful of the other players... but if it was the latter then I see absolutely no reason for anyone to be complaining, unless he is using some exploit the devs have specifically warned against.

Perhaps the devs want you healing others in oh say the Med centers? Look at it in a posative way. Now you get to help others in the game and make Jedi as a Person doing good for others.

Get off your high horses. Tumbling, rezzing is not an exploit. Don't point the finger callign one thing to get XP an "exploit" while using other metods which could also be seen as an "exploit". Like grenade grinding. I guess you all target the lair because that way you never miss? That is as much as an exploit (most certainly a bug or design flaw) as anything else.
I heal everyone with wounds I see (I almost hunt them lol). However the XP caps are so low that it is impossible to get enough of XP the normal way. If you are a doctor (60k XP = 6k FS XP) it would take ~200 trips to village to do one tree. Let say it take you 15 minutes to go from Coro or any other populated area to village and back. That is 50 hours just for travelling. Not so strange people are tunbling/pet trick/rezzing in village, or is it?
I like to heal wounds on people but it is not an option to do this only. Some nice "free" XP though. I have got 500k (since start of the new FS system) so far by playing the game (most coming from merchant but also scout and surveying) and now I want to finish that tree.

Let me just clarify a couple of things. I originally called Acip an idiot because you should never "post" what you are doing. Cheating, exploit or just taken advantage of something needs to be kept quiet. Once one person does it, then everybody is doing it, then SOE squashes it. An example...Panther City. Players were taking advantage of using the buildings to avoid death. Everyone started doing it, then CSR's started hanging out and threatening to ban people if they did not stop. I don't even agree that it was an exploit because it was the developers that placed the buildings therein the first place. Now because everyone started doing it,the ability to do that is nowruined and it now no longers exists. The same with the db/rez. If they see everyone starting to do itand blow through the trees in 5 hours, it will get changed. Then that is one less ability others have to get through this grind.
The word idiot mat have been a little harsh. Acip truely is not an idiot, he was just acting like one at that moment in time. As far as the player with the name 777idiot777, let me just say that you are a funny person. I feel sorry for you and your lonely existance.
