We always used to be able make a saber 48 force cost with 7 experimentation points, no however we can't even make a 49 one with all the 10 points. Maybe 2 extra points are required now with the CU to make it 48 force cost again.

i made both a 48 and a 49 fc base hilt with the 10 experimentation points. The ones with 49 fc, which i churned out alot of have 49 base fc 144-248 damage 97.33 modified damage per second. This is using the experimentation food, 15.00 ls tool, 45 weapon craftin station. thats with 7 points into efficiency and 3 points into damage. oh yah with all pearls in its action cost was 103, kinda suck but oh well. not sure if that changes when pearls are out, forgot to check base action cost.


The 48 fc one was with all points avaialbe into efficiency and whatever 1 or 2 pts left into damage. other that the fc the stats were nothin to write home about.

I have made 6 or 7 48 fcsabers with only 9 experimentation points, so I am not sure why you can't make one with all 10.

PS. and I am talking since the CU here.

Previously I had no problem at all to make any saber FC 48. Now however after about 20 tries I haven't been able to make one saber 48 FC, they all end up FC 49. I'm still using 14.97 LS Crafting tool, bespin port, that assembly cake thingie, no wounds or BF and I'm in a research center.


Nothing works to get it to FC 48 anymore.

Hmmm, well I was not using any food, was using a 8 pr 9 effectiveness tool, in a medical city, with plenty of wounds and BF lol, but I did have inspiration buffs.

Might be the difference in the resources used/available per server. I'm only able to get a FC 49 on Corbantis using the best stuff available.


With that said, my limiting resource seems to be the duralloy steel which doesnt produce the "green" ideal resource but a "yellow" and that with a OQ 901. I have another thread floating around with this topic that has my results.


Guess i need to try to locate some tapes and try once more before the final respec ...

I was able to get one down to 49fc so it's still possible. What I want is a +25 force regen hehe.
