I know I've read here that you can only unlock one branch per phase through questing. I've been curious, htough, if we can do all the different quests for the rewards without trying to unlock multiple branches. Or will a new unlock overwrite the previous unlock for that phase? What unforeseen implications come from trying multiple quests?

No, you can do all the quests if you're willing to wait 3 weeks for each one. It will only unlock that branch and the previous branches will remain unlocked. You could do every quest if you wished but it would take over a year.

Ok, suppose I take a quest, and teh person offering the quest says in return for me performing the quest, he will teach me Force Melee Speed. I already have Force Melee speed. Will I unlock another line, or will I have just wasted a cycle...
Thanks!

Unfortunately you have just wasted a cycle
In the Force-Sensitive forum there is a thread there as a guide which tells you which phases and NPCs will unlock the skills you need.

Hello
I'm a little confused about the quests in the villiage. My understanding is that you complete the one quest in the villiage and that will unlock a force tree for you. My question is...who do you speak to to find out which one you have unlocked ? Is it ok to just finish each phase quest and then just grind skill points ?
I would appreciate any help..I read the guide at the top of the page but I didn't see this info there.
Thanks,

I don't know how it starts off if you have 0 unlocks because i was given 3 free unlocks so i automatically got the novice boxes for 3 seperate trees. But basically after you unlock novice then you are only allowed to unlock 1 branch per phase. So yes you may see all 4 branches but you can only train in one branch. But to unlock the branch you need to do the quest given for that phase. It will say it all in his guide but that is a sum up

I wish i could give you a quick and easy sum up for you but your question requires a lot of info so you will want to look for someone named SSSnugles here on the forums and he has many links in his sig for all your questions and answers on the village. Just scroll down and next page etc. and look for his name then see his sig. That will help you

Nice info..thank you
someone told me that you have to do the main quest and there is an additional quest for extra stuff. I was also told that I have to do the villiage quest and then I HAVE to unlock a skill or lose the chance when the phase shifts.
confusing...
I appreciate your help though.

You can only do the specific quests that are offered in the particular phase we are in. See the sticky thread about what quests are available in the phase.

Yes, when you complete the quest you will unlock the branch.

Hmmm... Do you mean what skills you can learn? Actually if you go to your Skills screen (Control S) and click on All Professions you can already see the Force Sensitive skill trees there (Combat Prowess, Enhanced Reflexes, Heightened Senses and Crafting Mastery). Also please see the sticky thread on what branches of these trees you will be able to unlock by completing the quests in a specific phase.

I hope this helps.
