I recently completed the melee accuracy quest. I already have 3 boxes of ranged accuracy filled. Is the +12 to melee accuracy worth dropping those ranged boxes and regrinding? I understand that the ranged doesn't apply to anything jedi - just considering the time investment.
I was filling the ranged tree because I didn't want to wait for phase 3 to come around again before I could unlock - however, I've been slacking off and playing the game instead of grinding, and here I am.
Anybody care to weigh in?

as I understand it, force powers are ranged, so how can the ranged trees be not worth it?

I heard the bonus didn't apply to force powers - is that not true?

Ranged Accuracy will help with some force powers. Melee accuaracy will help with the Lightsabers as both the Ranged and Melee Accuracy are listed as general accuracy they can be applied to the jedi aspects

Ranged Accuracy benefits - Powers Users
Melee Accuracy benefits - every saber weilding jedi.

It works for saber throw? Thanks for the information guys. I had the impression it was worthless. Is it true the higher the mod, the less each subsequent point is?
For example if my melee accuracy is already 200, then adding +12 is worth less than if you had 100 melee accuracy and added +12? I thought there was some sort of diminishing return...

The more you know
Saber throw is not calculated as a ranged attack. All saber attacks including throws use the melee accuracy numbers.
Ranged accuracy and speed are used for Powers attacks, such as Force Lightning.

Yep, that's correct. So if you are planning to Master the lightsaber tree you won't be getting much out of the +12 bonus

But that 12 points against a Jedi without may very well be the little advantage you need to win the fight.
