If you are silly enough to rush into deciding which quest you are gonna take without finding out what you have to do and how hard it is then you should have to stick with it. You made your bed, go lay in it.

gonna have to agree. We're given the "are you sure you want to do that?" option before finalizing the quest choice, no real excuse . .especially with the forums listing how every quest works . . . and this same issue happaned last time too. Its known so we should all know better.

I agree that people probably should not have taken the melee accuracy quest. Personally, I went with reflexes and maybe i'll bank the xp i need to later on come back to get the combat accuracy once it is fixed. However, considering the quest is broke (i dont think theres much room for debate there considering that there are 12 of 15 bases which are impossible to complete from and the remaining 3 require great planning and often a fair amount of luck) I'll go ahead and sign. I'm not bitter about it, because it's not slowing me down since i picked something else, but I still think they should either hot fix some of these issues or allow people to trade it in for another quest.

Btw, I keep seeing 'QFE' posted...what's that mean?

Different reason though. I think there's a bug with taking the mission.

When the phase hit, I went to the vilage on an alt character. Since I am a guild leader, I was pretty much in tell hell all the way (guildies and friends wanting to know if phase had shifted yet), and believe it or not, I forgot which toon I was on.

The toon I was on, Sita, completed the melee accuracy quest the first time Phase 3 came around, a LONG time ago. She should not have been able to accept the quest a second time. Yet she could. So now I am stuck with a quest I neither want or need for Sita.

I am past annoyed here. In the normal state of things, Sarguilo should have told me he had no work for me. CSRs tell me I am SOL. Ticketed it again, hope that works. If it doesn't, then SOE can kiss the account bye bye, because I am not keeping her around for 12 weeks when there is nothing I can do on her anyway.

Yeah, I've heard of this happening, I don't know how but many people have shared the same stories lately.

I do not think you should be able to drop a missions, but i think the bugs should be fixed. In the even the bugs cannot be fixed, then I agree, yea you should be able to drop missions.

They only have to take out the bugs then there would be no thread like this

DATA-Lux -> CL90 Jedi, Master Pilot & Politican, RSF Lieutenant, Imperial Colonel
DATA-LuxII -> Master munition trader

Elder: Bounty Hunter, Brawler, Commando, Combat-Medic, Doctor, Explorer, Jedi, Marksman, Merchant, Medic, Pistoleer, Pikeman, Politician, Rifleman,
Smuggler, Teras Kasi

NGE profs: Commando, Boutny Hunter, Jedi, Medic, Politician

Sorry to say but I agree with the above.

You have 3 weeks between phase changes to plan out what path you want to take. You then are asked if you are sure whether you want that specific training or not. Not only that but isn't part of Jedi training, movie wise anyway, to be patient and think things through before making a decision? Sorry but I think it is fine as is.

Ah, thanks. Usually I don't have much trouble figuring those things out, but that one had me stumped. Thanks for clearing that up.

Quest is bugged to the high heavens that is reason enough that you should be able to drop it.

You can dump every other quest in the game, thus you enter the village with that same mentality. Only to find that you can't abandon the force sensitive quests which is contrary to every questencountered thus far in SWG.

I think you should only be able to surrender with a CSR's permission...as if something's bugged or such...i agree with the "Are you sure?" and the "I told you so" captions.

But if something's technically wrong you should by all means be able to switch (/takepity to all who have chosen melee speed)
