With the last patch, I now have to figure out how to finance my grind. I figure these are my options:
1. Grind faction until I can get an AT-ST. Then can do janta/mokk missions and get the 30k payout grouped with my ATST (hopefully no reb comes and blows up my ATST while I'm grinding.)
2. Do JTL. I'm only 1111 pilot, but hear that higher up missions and Kessel have good loot and good money.
3. Do normal missions for 10k and finish the grind in about the year 2049.
That's all I can come up with. Anyone have any other suggestions or recommendations? Thanks.

I only found out about it the night before.

AHHHHH stop talking about it already! Heaven forbid they actually fix something that players use to cheat the system. For one, you don't need topay money to grind so you are going to finish it at the same time, not 2040 or whatever. You just need to leanr to manage your funds better.Secondly, what did you expect to buy? Pearls for your jedi? From where? They fixed that too .. no more pearls everywhere. Here's a secret I learned - the devs are making it waaay harder to be jedi. Either suck it up, or stop grinding. Or find a new exploit. But please stop dredging up this DEAD issue. No one is going to give you an I win button. Unless you are a BH.

I didn't realize I was whining.
I was simply asking for suggestions. I don't know how you grind, but with health buffs, mind buffs, and crates of grenades, it can add up. My time is too valuable to waste it on unarmed exchange when I can trade combat at 3:1. I'd rather have fun killing rebs, hanging out, or simply doing things I enjoy doing instead of monotonous grinding.
Please understand I'm not complaining, but simply asking for wisdom from those wiser than I.

Pick up some scout skills and havest the creatures as you kill them. If you harvest a current hot spawn, you can make a killing. But even if you just harvest junk meat/bone/hide you can sell that for 10cpu. I'm finding that as a ranger, the FS grind is bringing in more money than ever now because I'm killing creatures all the time!
That's my method of making money for this grind... hopefully you can spare the 15sp for novice scout... or even 29sp for scout 0/0/4/0

Except for the harsh connotation, you have some good points.

Ipurchased an ATST and I group with it in a fixed Imp city such as Bestine and put it on a stay. As a combatant no pvp rebs can touch it and no reb NPCs are anywhere close. More recently I group and put it on a 'stay' at the Science outpost on Dath for my Giant Baz Nitch missions. Again it'll never be touched.
Never had to worry about finding a solo group since!

Yes, I know, I am an azzhole.
About the poster before this (if I don't get kd in the posting) my buddies guild is doing the same thing. There is a permanent entertainer there who also has out an ATST in the middle of their huge imp city. So they just come and go in that group.

so only imperials are allowed to make money grouping with a pet.... how nice. they need to either give rebs a pet on par with the AT-ST or take another swing of the nerfbat. and before anyone bothers posting any BS about "being imperial should be easier than being reb" you can save it. making money should have no part in the "easy" factor. rebs and imps should both be able to make roughly the same grouped with faction pets.
