How high skills do you need to get full XP from killing Giant Baz nitches? Do you need to be master or is tier 4 enough?

I believe speed from grenades is bugged, so use imp or thermals and go for it, just make sure you have melee defenses. 0004 TKA, or 4000 Fencer would help a ton while your standing there lobbing grenades every 9 seconds. Also try using speed pups on them
Anyway hope that answers it!

Uhh not sure I understand your reply, Guess you didn't understand my question lol.
What I mean is if you have a weapon equipped that you low skills for, like me who is novice TK in unarmed I get only 3.5k or something for each GBN I kill with grenades. If I equip a rifle (I am master) I get the full 5k XP (when killing them with grenades).
You get XP dependign on your skill level for some stuff you get more XP at lower level (those stuff you killed at low level will onyl get you 1 XP at master) and for some other it is the opposite like GBN which gives you less XP with lower skill levels (for the weapon you have equipped).
Oh and with GBN I meanGiant Baz Nitches (so long to write and I never learn to remember how to spell it)

Wow, bad response. You can go ahead and shoot me now lol.
Being in a group is the only way I know of to raise xp per kill. Maybe your rifle skill is lower and makes the difficulty harder?

Yes, I think grouping is how you really max the XP per kill on just about anything. In some cases can make a 1000+ point difference. I'd use the highest qualifying weapon you have just to make sure.
If I'm not in a solo group, I'll usually group with one of my droids (either my harvest or my combat) and leave them near my speeder while I go for the lair. That group alone usually maxes me out for XP, but of course, with only 2 grouped, you don't get the large spawn rate like you would from a solo group - but you do get the full 11k payout

I know what you're asking. I believe Master will get you the max, though Tier 4 will get you close. Also, don't forget, like others mentioned, to be grouped for the group XP bonus.

II have noticed if I equip a PH I get 5000 combat xp and the additional 500. I am Master Swordsman.
Now I have read if I equip a weapon I am not certified for, i.e VK, I only get around 3500 combat xp and the additional 500 too.
So I would suggest equipping the weapon relating to which prof you are master for.

Added note from 0400 TKA, Master Rifles: approx. 4k (maybe 4200) combat XP (plus the tenth) using TKA, approx. 5k (plus the tenth) using rifles. At 4124 Rifles, I think I was getting 4600 XP with Rifles. It seems there are two issues, weapon skill XP modifier and weapon skill XP cap. Maybe I'll kill a rancor sometime with the VKs to test this...

Bermag, when I was doing grenades I was a master commando and 4000 tka. When holding my flamer, I got the 5500 combat xp. Holding a vk only got me 4400 combat xp. Hope that helps.

Just under 4k XP from a Rhoa Kwi Hunter, and I know they're worth 5k at master ... shows what 0400 TKA gives you. When I re-grind TKA, I should keep track of XP given as I go, it shouldn't really be a problem if I remember.
