What usually do is....

lower your health and action. Max out Mind, Focus, and (forgot that 3rd one). Basically lower all other stat to max out the bottom 3.

Afterwards, get your self some Brandy, Muon Gold, and Synsteak. Equipment some really good armor...

Before you go, get a master doctor to buff you.

Use only Brandy. Take the first shot right before you fight, then take the second shot approx 10 minutes into your fight. This way when your stomach is full, it will allow you to take more at different interval w/o having to wait too long.

Use the Muon Gold in an emergency. Keep it in your tool bar and use it when you are against large mob where you have to use special spam so much your mind can't heal fast enough. Then take Muon Gold

Synsteak, use that only against larger opponent. It will reduce damage they inflict on you.

As for mind buff, not required, but recommended if you could get a hold of one.

That method allows me from Novice TKA to master TKA solo the whole time in Geo Cave @ entrance. I was able to get approx 4.7k exp easy there and level fairly fast.

Go up the Power tree first. At novice TKA, get a super fast VK (of 1.5 or faster). Once you hit max on the power tree, then use a damage sliced VK...because you cap @ 2.2 speed.

Hope that helps.

.....

That was what I post for someone else. But to add, Setup a Macro to do this. It helped me a lot.

/unarmeddizzy1;
/unarmeddizzy1;
/knockdown1;
/unarmedhit2;
/unarmedhit2;
/unarmedhit2;

that is...this way you dizzy the mob first before knockdown. That increases your chance of knock down. While he is down, wack him as many time as possible before he stands up. Usually if he is dizzy and get knock down, it will fall again if he stands back up.

HI! I just got TKN. I had enough Combat EXP saved up from Pistoleer(which I dropped) to get x/x/x/1 when I started. I've been using Berserk1 and normal attacks lately against Sharnaffs on Corellia and getting pretty decent exp without dying(or even really taking damage). The reason I use Berserk is because when I use specials my mind drains too fast(and it's the only way I take damage). I've got a full doctor buff and am using brandy. I wear a full 80%(70% base) mid-encumbrance composite suit, and I want to know what I should do from here.

After doing a load of Sharnaff missions I picked up x/1/x/1. So now I have knockdown. Should I be using Unarmed Hit 2 and Knockdown? Or what? I mean, since it does hurt me. And what skill should I go for next? Meditation or Techniques? Or should I max a certain skill like x/4/x/x?

BTW I have speed sliced(1.6/40-146) VK's and damage sliced vk's (2.2/50-200). Which should I use? Or should I use none at all? :-x It seems really slow when I don't use any.

Help!

First get a power up that will help lower that 32 per hit drain. I used berserk and or specials depending on what I was fighting, but I always had my armor on and VK's in hand. The speed and light armor piercing really comes in handy on everything. And do not forget the canape It is like +650 or more to your focus and willpower I nvr notice my mind drop when I have 2 shots of canape in me and a brandy. anyway good luck/

My mind, focus, and willpower are maxed out. I have the rest of my points in Action and Health, strength and stamina are as low as they go. I have +420 45m brandy and plenty of it that I always take. I'm a master doctor with 2500/3h15m buffs, and I'm buffed whenever I play. I do 1000 damage per hit if I use UH2. I do 600 damage per hit if I use berserk and normal hit. With UH2 I lose energy 32 at a time, which is pretty fast, and even with brandy it goes quick. With berserk, I don't lose energy.

The question at hand for me is: Will I be better to use no armor(for encumbrances to be gone), or no VK(for much lower special costs), and should I use berserk and normal attacks or go for specials like KD and UH2?

I really need some help.

Thanks if you reply.

I unlocked before publish 10 and after publish 9 and when I do /checkforcestatus it tells me "You feel and Inner glow. The force is with you".

So my question is, what do I do now??

Should I sit around and wait for the old man to approach me?

Go to the village?

Go collect more POI badges?

My guildmates tell me to sit around and wait, anyonehave any ideas onwhat I should do?

The key answer is... are you ready?... Sure?...

Well, I've been TKM/Master Doc for ages now. For me, well, I love it. But I think you should play around and see what you like.

If you're into PvP then Master Doc may not be the way to go (I do pretty good with it but others say it's not the "best" template for it)

If you like PvE then again, it's a toss up. In my opinion TKM/Doc is the hands down best for PvE and pretty well balanced for PvP. Teras Kasi Master compliments just about any profession well. Try a bunch of different professions, at least the novice boxes to see what you like. (I even tried BH for a while.. scarey...)

I just made TKM today, and am steadily progressing towards master ranger. Will it make me uber? Hell no. Is it way fun? Yep. And if the devs ever remember that rangers exist, and give us some sweet sweet coding love, it'll be even better.

i'm a tkm/creature handler. i'm not into PvP so tk is all the combat skills i'll need, plus being a creature handler open up more content then another combat profession would imo.
