I already posted this in the Ingame Sustomer Support Forum. Just reposting it here for emphasis.

FYI all. First some background. I'm having an issue where Dageerin will not talk to me so I may do his mission (Melee Speed). I was unable to complete the series of missions in the given timethe last time Phase 2 was here. Because of that, no NPCs will talk to me to start a quest now. I've written to the CSRs twice and got 2 responses. Basically both said that they cannot help me!! They said I should /bug it and move on. This is a lie! I've seen other players have their toons fixed for the same issue by having the quest either reset or auto completed. Now the CSRs refuse to help. I'm guessing this is their way to stop new Jedi. Well, this is a game breaking bug as I can no longer proceed on the path I've chosen.

So anyways, just an FYI to let you all know that SOE really doesn't care about your issues...just your money.

when you say he won't talk to you do you mean

a) you /converse with him andnothing happens

or

b) you /converse with him and he says something but has nothing to do with getting a mission

if its a) then submit the bug but tell them exactly what is happening. That you are using /comverse and the NPC doesn't reply

if its b) what exactly is he saying. I found that because alot of people are talking to him the same time, I've mistaken his response to them as one to me . . . until I checked my spatial wher i could see the "reply to Bis Cuit".

I too didn't complete the mission last time phase 2 was around but so far I've been fine with it this time around. He gave it to me and I'm on camp 7 now. I know that doesn't help but if you gave us alittle more info, someone might be able to give you more insight to a solution.

i have had the same problems except i didnt finish my phase 4 quest. It still shows the phase 4 quest in my journal and now everyone in phase 1 and 2 say i have "already something on my plate." I have sent a ticket thingy but i havent gotten a response yet. THIS IS SCREWING UP MY JEDI GRIND!

What should we learn from these posts:

FINISH WHAT YOU START IN THE GIVEN AMOUNT OF TIME...

Not slamming those who didn't... but we should all catch on now that you must finish your quest within the 3 weeks are you may have problems later on...

So don't start a grind for a NPC if you can't finish it before the phase shift.

You should have too worry about this, but apparently it's an issue

What should we learn from these posts:

Not slamming those who didn't... but we should all catch on now that you must finish your quest within the 3 weeks or you may have problems later on...

So don't start a grind for a NPC if you can't finish it before the phase shift.

You shouldn't have too worry about this, but apparently it's an issue

I am having the same problem with Dageerin all he says is that he hears what a good job i am doing helping the village out and keep up the good work or something to that effect. I think the CSR's need to adress this ASAP, for these are time sensitive missions.

and i have definately finished all my quests on time thus far. so there is something else wrong with these missions

He says the same thing over and over that He's happy I'm doing a good job. He wont let me start or continue the mission. Yes, he is talking to me, I'm the only one talking to him. And that's all the informationthere is. What else would you like to know???

As for those of you who say we need to finish the quest in the alloted time, real life does come first. We are not all 12 year olds with all day to play. We have jobs, families, and commitments. Unintentional things pop up and take away the time. You will learn that when you grow up. Anyways, it's just poor programming to not take into account that someone might not be able to finish the quests in time. They should hold over till the next time the phase rolls around or just reset.

Real life does come first . . . I couldn't finish phase 2 last time cause I was in the middle of a move. I guess I should just be happy I wasn't bugged.

Onward though . . .

Ok I'm no way suggestion anyone do this but . . . has anyone actidentally destroyed their force crystal? I know that the village elder will give youa new one if you do but . . . has anyone done so while this bug was in effect. Could it be that the unfinished quest is locked in the journal and that is what the codes look at to see if you can start a new quest?

Brutal. While the game does not say you have to finish the quest . It sees that it is a good ideal to do so. I do my quests starting as soon as possable. While people can be busy in the real world, I have a clingy wife that keeps me busy and I am only get to play on the weekend when I am not doing house and yard stuff. I am 43 years old and try to get in 2 or 3 hours a week. I have done phase 1 and 2. I was able to do them within my 3 hour limit.

It is unfair that you can get bugged if you do not do the mission in 3 weeks but, if you can not do the quest in 3 weeks , you will probably not be able to do the Jedi grind or even the FS grind.

I stopped my accounts for a while because I live 3 hours from work and sometimes am not even home . I came on for CU and have stayed since I like it ( I do not need UBER stuff to play .

I hope they fix this bug but until then, we had better learn from the people that have been messed up. Thus their sacrifice will not be for nothing.

I am having this same issue with Whip. I talk to him and he says that i have been doing a good job, but thats it. HE WONT GIVE ME MY LAST QUEST! I sent a CSR ticket thing and got a response 3 days later saying that the devs knew about it and were trying to fix it...but 3 days after the response (now) i still cant get my quest!

why is this game constantly bugged?

Hmmmm...I'm almost afraid to try thiat with all the bugs running around. I might end up having to start eh whole FS grind all over!!
