If you fill all 4 columns in the cbt tree you can pay your 600-somthing AP-points to master it but as far as I can tell you dont get anything for the master box..

..or am I wrong? Anyone knows anything about it?

i think you just get a box towards your 24 total that you need to get initiate. if you have the ap's you might as well cuz its a box that requires no grinding to get but other than that, i dont think there are any benefits, at least at the moment.

At this time, you do not benefit from mastering one of the four FS catergories. I'm assuming eventually that will change, but time will tell...

That is incorrect, you do not need 24 total boxes, but more importantly 6 full trees, at least this is my understanding.

6 full trees=24 boxes. But I think I understand the point you are trying to get across. Unlocking 8 branches, and getting bits and peices of them equal to 24 boxes will not get you the unlock.

Just trying to clarify.

Correct, I actually meant you don't just need any 24 total boxes, but more importantly 6 full trees. Otherwise they'd have people unlocking them all and while it'd take time Village wise it wouldn't be so bad to do just 1 or 2 boxes in a tree instead of a whole tree the xp cost would be lower and kinda silly.

Personally right now I am going after a rather random unlock process just going after the good rewards, then on the next go around I'll be more systematic and between the 2 sets of phases I should have the ones I want to train in. For anyone who is a forward thinker and plans to be a Jedi just remember that the combat prowess range trees are useless, stick to the melee, not that that wasn't known already I thought I'd reiterate it, heh.

You need 24 boxes period. They dont have to be full branches.

WRONG. You need 6 full branches not just 24 boxes. Read the posts from the devs.

If it was just 24 boxes no one would do the top two boxes.Those boxes are 350K and 450K. That's2/3 of the xp required for a branch.

BTW the master box is for tree continuity only. It has no practical purpose.

So for each Quest unlock we get we have to finish it out and do the master? Still lost on that part.

Okay the branches have four trees each.....each of those four branchs converge into a master box for the initial tree.....

Example:

X X X X
X

What you need are six branches complete to get to initiate:

X
X 0 X X
X 0 X X
X 0 X X
X 0 X X
0

This is an example of one completed tree X= boxes not completed 0= boxes trained.

So all I nee then is...

Master

Novice

And to finish out 2 more boxes in a tree then? does novice count as a skill trained IE the example I put above would only be 4 skills trained then and not 5 (counting novice) or is master counted also. So one tree would be enuff to finish then? Counting Master and Novice as a skill? Apperciate the patience. Or doing novice and 2 other boxes in another Quest unlock skill (not counting novice)

You need 6 trees in any combination of the 16 trees available throughout the 4 different skill types, that is ANY combination of 6 trees, do a mater block if you want but not necessary.

For example I'm planning on Melee Speed, Melee Accuracy, Ranged Defense, Melee Defense, Healing, Experimentation, as you will notice that is 6 trees but none will get me anywhere close to master of one skill which is unnecessary. Hope that helped.
