it has been going around that u have to drop your skills before u get padawan is this true...if it is am i screwed??excuse language

do u mean drop ur fs skills? or drop like elite proffesion skills? well either way u dont have to drop u only have to drop the skills when u need the points just like any other proffesion

yes elite proffession skills i heard they locked and u couldn't drop any of them when u got padawan...i am doing padawan trials so i consider myself padawan already so if i dont drop them before i finish will they lock so i cant drop any of them?

Just drop them when you need to drop them like 1 by 1... Otherwise people wouldn't say to pick up feign death and medic for the grind ahead

Just like learning any other "normal" profession, you don't have to drop any of your existing skills until you're out of skill points and need to free up enough to learn the new skill. You can drop your non-Jedi skills a box at a time as you train your Jedi skillboxes -- unless you're a real powergrinder you're going to be a TKM or Master Swords or whatever for a good while yet, along with your Padawan skills.

thank you for all the help...so are these just rumors that u have to drop them before padawan..or is it true that u cant drop any of them when u become padawan

You can't drop the FS skills, ever. You can drop your regular skills, though. You want to drop your skills as needed as you earn the xp necessary to get your Jedi skills. Your regular skills don't get locked in place or anything like that.

Not true. Once you become aJedi Initiate,you must keep 6 branches of FS skills.If you train in a 7th branch, you can drop one of the other 6. If you have more then six branches, you can drop the extra.

If you are not Jedi Initiate, you can drop them anytime you wish.

NO !!! You don't have to drop skill points before Padawan.

You do have to drop whatever is necessary to gain enough skill points to assign to the various Jedi tree and skills, when they are needed. You started the game with 250 skill points... being a Jedi doesn't change that.

If someone is trying to convince you that you need to drop all of your "normal" profession skills right when youbecome Padawan... tell them to bugger off. They are obviously trying to confuse you (and possibly cause a lot of trouble for you).
