This happened to me tonight...
I did my usual run up to the nitch lair and wack it multiple times. This time i was able to knock it half way down before they repaired so the second and third spawned. Now the problem i had was most of the baz nitches were around the lair, including the 5 agroing me. When i threw the nade it showed damage being done to the surrounding baz nithches but when i targeted them they had a full HAM bar. I thought this was weird it would show hit location spam over their head yet do no damage to bars. Has anyone else experienced this?

Did you target one that wasnt attacking you, only like 5 can be agro'd on you at a time? I know sometimes it bugs up or what not and they will be attacking you but the nades to dont hit. Sorta weird.

I had no problems last night....although I have had the bug where the HAM bar for a Baz Nitch is not being reduced.

That's no bug..it's just how the combat system works. For most mission-generated creatures, only 5 can attack at one time. The rest of them stand around, waiting for a critter to die so they can jump in.
It's a tactic used on the corvette...let 5 creatures agro you on the lowest floor, and nothing else will agro you.
By the same token, you can't do any damage to them.
Check your armour. 'Nades WILL hurt you, if you're within their range. And if you're doing it properly, you'll be lobbing them at the lair while you're standing in/next to it, to catch the GBN's in the blast. Which means that *you* are catching the blast too.
Ubese is useless...15% resist to blast aint going to help much. You need composite, with 64% base resist at least. An armoursmith on my server has recently put out a Grenade Edition Composite Suit - 80% resist to blast, kinetic and electrical, 67% base.
If you're wearing decent composite, make sure that it's not broken. If it is, it'll only be dragging down your HAM. Finally - and it may sound obvious, but I"ve seen it happen - Make sure you're buffed

I was buffed, and wearing composite Helm, body, and leggings.
Do the critters NEED to have 0 blast resist?, I think these had 20%

Their blast resist doesn't matter...it's 25% if you're interested.
The only bits of armour you need is the Helmet, Chest, Gloves and Boots. Ditch the rest, unless you've got AA's in them.
And C12s don't do much damage...that's why we've got bigger 'nades...like thermals *drool*

If you're going to use C12's, I've had a lot of luck on Endor... Bark mite burrower swarmlings, bolle bol stompers, swirl prong impalers, gurrecks. All of these have 0-5% blast resists, and (for me at least) give 2800-4100xp each when equipped with an uncertified weapon. I can get 20-30K combat xp per lair using the double-lair milking method, using 3-4 grenades per lair.

I should mention, make sure you have good grenades with damage powerups. I use C12's with 2.7 spd and 902 max dmg, powered up to 1100+ max dmg. I've tried speed powerups, and found that while the time it takes to kill a lairis consistent with using damage powerups (so samexp/hour for both types of powerups), I use up a lot more grenades for the same result.

I use Minimum dmage powerups actually in my Thermasl. The way i look at it, I would rather have a more consistent lower end then very few that hit for max.

I have a problem where I am targeting the lair as I run up. Then I get in the lair with the 5 or so BN's and I start lobbing grenades at what appears to be the lair. Then, as soon as one of them starts to run away, I end up throwing 1-2 nades at them until they have died. I have not stopped targeting the lair at any point. I thought I fixed this by hitting the lair w/unarmed 3 a couple times before I started hitting it with nades, but this still happens occasionally. Any thoughts?

This is because you automatically target whoever aggro's you. You need to peace until you get into the lair itself and for good measure, target it with your normal weapon first before you throw the first nade. This keeps you from targeting some random beast which also decreases your chance to hit (remember lairs are always 100% and can't be missed).
