Force Sensitive Archive

I finally got glowie last week--cool. Now all the BS starts! Sit down and laugh at my demise! The Old Man shows and gives me my crystal. I run around for a few hours and no Sith. I log off and wait until the next day. I log on and run around a city and bam! 2 level 78 Siths show ten minutes of me logging on. I have no buffs on or foods or anything--my dumb fault. One Sith incaps me and ganks my crystal!----NOOOOOOO! I kill him and and then the other. I loot a waypoint datapad but no crystal of course. Have to wait for the Old Man again! =( Old Man actually shows up about 10 minutes later and I get a new crystal. No Sith after hours of just doing whatever ouside in my own private city just killing stuff. I log out and wait until the next day.This time my Jedi buddy is grouped with me when we both log in and I have food and buffs now and am ready for the Sith. Within 10 minutes or so I walk back from the Tyrena Starport back to my private city and the Sith spawn and start shooting at me. Me and my friend kill both Sith and I do all the looting and get a waypoint datapad disk. I try to use the disk and get a message saying "Object must be looted before item is used" or something close to that. I decide to log outside my guild hall when my freind calls me over to his computer and I am seeing my character gettingshot at byANOTHER 2 Sith as I am already logged off my computer. I log back in to see I was already incapped and my crystal is now gone AGAIN! Both Sith are dead thanks to my friend but I am still grouped and loot another waypoint data disk but no crystal again since I got mugged! Old Man shows up again not even 5 minutes this time and once again gives me a new crystal. This crystal is broken though because I have NOTHING in my quest journal for anyting Force Sensitive now like I had with the past two crystals. I even used the "use" option in the radial for the crystal and still no FS option quest info on my journal. I destroy this bugged crystal and now once again waiting on the Old Man. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! =( I submitted a bug report on this also. I am just unlucky I guess!

I've done this with a few guildies, and it has worked each time. When you kill the sith, make sure both are dead before you loot em. You can stay in group for loot, but make sure YOU do the looting, not your group members, otherwise, they will bork the datapad. Worked for the 2 sith, as well as the camp. Send a message ingame. I will be on after 430 pm tuesday if you need my assistance. Kate and I have done this for almost all our new FS guildes, and never had a problem with looting the datapad.

I'll tell you what happened to me today.

I got glowy 2 days ago and had been avoiding the old man cos i was cl 59 at the time.

well today he cought up with me during a hunting trip on dant, and gave me the rock. I still was not ready for sith (funny, i saw the sith lurking before the old man ran up to me) and put the rock in the bank till i could lvl up, so i kept grinding, saw sith 2 more times.. again just lurking. finaly a while ago i shuttled into a p-city and there were a bunch of folks watching a jed beating on sith.. first thing i see is "hey these must be yours"

the jed groups with me, we kill the sith. I loot datapad. i get you must loot this..blah blah, so i think its because of the rock being in the bank, so i stay grouped, go back to dant and pick it up and return to tat where i once again see 4 sith dukeing it out with the jed in the shuttleport, i join in and we kill them and i check the old data disk.. still no workie.

I delete it and loot the 4 dead sith. the new one works just fine.

so to recap..

you dont have to ungroup

you should kill them all first

have the force rock at hand

if you stash it in the bank, you realy freak people wiith all the sith suddenly popping upin the area (I personally brought upwards of 12 around with me today) and they won't attack you till you have the rock

if it dont work, repete.. again and again cos it realy does work, one more mission and the village opens.. simple as that.
