I am not sure what you mean. I've been on several Mel runs for others and guess what? It's not hard AT all. Yes, it requires a group, which it should. I have heard of Rifleman soloing, but otherwise, a group is needed. Never had any problems and kill them with moments.

And Mel's bud is lvl 100, but really, he doesn't seem it. He is easier then Mel.

What are you, man or mouse

Seriously just use your head, take a well-organised group & take the big ugly bugger down, it's by no means impossible, just get docs to heal, riflemen to snipe some of the aggro before it all hits you & you'll be fine.

We killed Mel tonight, helping a guildie. Daktar (lvl 100 guy) was killed by.... are you ready for this? low level vynocks just outside corellia. How sad is that! Mel hits pretty hard, but all in all it was great fun (even through the deaths).

Man calm down,
...first: Mel is lvl 85 his bud 100 but don't need to kill him only Mel have to die
...second: He's max doing 400dmg when he can hit you with is saber, he can't throw it and he don't use powers
...third: soloing him is too easy with root as special, take out the crystal as descripted, then lure him out and kill him from distance, he got never closer then 20m of me

So stop the annoying and play the game with some tactics man...

I soloed it when Mell and Daktar were both 1 hitters...

I mean, why do you need to take down Daktar?

You can ignore him and still get it done.

Rifleman with concealed for the power nodes, then a team to take out the rest. That lvl 100 guy was dead before he reached our group that helped a friend out with this quest. Mel is a wuzz if you have a group. Just make sure the quest holder hits him once then just run to safety and wait for the mission to be fininshed.

ok cool that's kind of what i wanted to hear. i was under the impression that they all had to go.

btw this is not for me. i was helping a guildy do itand he was saying this guy had to go. since i wasnt the one doing it i did not know the facts.

his mission was bugged anyway since one of the crystals spawned under a house. too bad toobecause had we gotten that last crystal we already had mell set up 100m's away from the daktar dude. he was chasing me around before thatand just stopped there.

i still say that guy shouldnt be there though but oh well.
