Thread: Have Crystal Drops Changed (for the worse)?

I am Master Rifleman/TKM on Eclipse and have been grinding rifle xp for the village since it first opened for business. I usually do one buff session a day, and hunt either on Dathomir or on Endor and typically slaughter tons of 3K to 5K MOBs.
Though I do not seek them out, Frequentlyin my hunting I come across the following CRYSTAL DROPPING NPCs:
-- Nightsisters (rangers, initiates, stalkers, and of course slaves)
-- Singing Clan (slaves, dragoons, others?)
-- Korgas (battlelords, shamans, scouts, chiefs, etc....)
HERE IS THE PROBLEM:
For approximately the first four phases of the village I was looting a crystal maybe one a night, maybe every other night. All of a sudden, several weeks ago it all stopped. I havent seen one crystal drop in AT LEAST the last three weeks. I even mastered TK in that time period and now kill the tougher nightsister stalkers, but nothing from them either.
Has anyone else noticed this? Or has my luck just taken a nosedive into hell?

For me, there are good days and bad days. I don't loot any crystal for 3-5 days, and then I get 2-3 in a single buff session for two days in a row.But, on average, I haven't noticed a drop.
I don't kill as many NS as I used to before they got their specials back, and not as many Mokks as in the solo group days, but I still get 3 to 5 crystals per week (2/3 power, 1/3 color, I would say), playing 15 to 20 hours a week.
In my experience, Dant is better than Endor for crystal hunting.

like the speaker above i have good days, and bad days.
However ive been busy with creatures that doesnt drop crystals lately due to fs grind.
But today i got 3 crystals in one buff,
#1 color crystal from a Montain Clan slave
#2 color cystal from a Mokk
#3 Clean/Damage crystal from a Nighsister Ranger.

I have killed a hundred or so NS from ranger, initiate, ptortector, and spellweaver in the last wekk and a half. I have looted one vibro lance, 6 NS Armor Shards,and one DoT NS Lance, and very medicore credits.

The loot patch messed up the drop rate. They added a bunch of new loot which threw the crystal drop way off.When they added the new stuff they should have increased the numbers for crystals, but they did not. There should be a Hot Fix one of these days, but it has been over a month. 
Like a previous post said, it depends on the day. Sunday I got about 2 color crystals+ 1 damage/white crystal, then Monday killed hundreds of things that normally drop them and nothing. I'm talking NS, SMC, NS escape slaves, Jantas, Mokk, and Hut expedition force. Nothing dropped.
I hope they fix it.

I'm on eclipse and i almost always get at least one dmg crystal per buff most of the times 2. along with all the other junk they give.

Yeah I have noticed that most "high end" loot drops are sporatic now. They either drop in bunches or not at all. When you hit a period of time where they are dropping you dont want to quit, because it seems like the next few times you drop on, no loot. Well unless you count dot CDEF's!

DOT CDEF's are UBER!!!. I keep on just getting the regular ones.What is a Nightsiter doing with a survival knifeanyway?

Went NS hunting Last night, spent about 3 hours out there and looted 5 crystals, 2 premium and all crap (1 box till completed jedi).... I'd just be happy with a fixed tuning system.

I did a full buff sesion and all i got was a damn wood staff 
No loots but more money yay lmfao

Well if they have been borked, the economy is showing it. On bria, heres a quick list of prices:
Quality Crystals: 1-3mill
Premiums: 4-8mill
Quality Pearls: 1-4mill
Premium Pearls 5-9mill
What happened to jedi not needing money or any worldly possesions?

Well I have looted 3 clear one's in the last 2 days, 1 off of a NS Spellweaver and 2 off of random NPC's on Lok, so for me it has not changed.

6 more crystals last night on a NS hunt... not trying to brag just confirming that it wasn't a one night fluk, even used a completly different toon.
