I was a Master TKM and I finally did all the quests. Saw the old man on the 3rd day and waited for the sith to come. When they came, they killed me in 6 shots and were CL78!

I thought these guys were supposed to be easy?

Sith Shadowsare not that hard. I can tank 3-4 of them at a time. If you cant take these, Dont start the patrols for captain Sarguillo in the Village. IF you ever get there. Just check my temp below. Since the very last respec, when i respeced to it, I have been undefeated in Duels.

How am I supposed to be able to tank these guys that when I am a TKM they are doing 500-600 damage PER SHOT?

I can tank 3 Gurks solo (Level 82) and take less damage then I do soloing Sith Shadows!

Yeah, they gave me some trouble too. I was a master rifleman, not-quite master doc (CL 72) when they started finding me. Without fail, they'd incap me almost immediately, steal my crystal, and as soon as I'd recover from my incap, I'd be able to beat them with no problems. Which was, of course, futile. The crystal was already gone and I had to wait for another visit from the old man. That happened I think six times.

Anyway, they finally caught up with me on Dant while I was grouped and hunting. Even though I was already at half health and none of my group members attacked them, they both dropped like bags of hammers for me. I mean....easy. Maybe because the leader was CL 80? I'm not sure.

So then I get the camp wp, and wasn't able to do it by myself twice. I grabbed one CL80 for a group, and again, it was a piece of cake. I wasn't even armored and probably only took 15-20% damage to my health bar.

So my advice, as it's not too hard to figure out when you're going to get your sith visits, is to make sure you stay grouped with a high CL friend. But do make sure you're grouped. You don't want an ungrouped friend out damaging you so that you can't loot.

As a CL 80 Master Pistoleer/Master Doctor, should I have any trouble defeating the shadows?

At cl80 MBH MR MM they was so easy.

In my mid level assault armor they only did 17 damage per hit.

The sith outlaws hit a little tougher though.

I can still take on three outlaws and only use one stim and maybe fly a heal.

But yeah if anybody cant handle these guys dont touch the patrol mission unless you got someone torun itwith you for a long while.

I had the same problems. I was TKM and MBH. I was incapped multiple times soloing the sith. I respeced to Master Rifleman and MBH, got some high energy resist Recon armor (couldnt find any decent Assualt) and a PSG. I was then able to solo the sith and the sith camp with no problem.

That's it?

As a combat level 56 Architect, I routinely hunt level 82 critters on Dath. with guildies...

Why do people pay to play a MMORPG but not want to interact with other people?
Why, SOELA, why? Did the entire management join a cult, and at the same time perform home lobotomies?
It takes less time to look at the stickies than to ask a question and wait for sarcastic replies. So please oh PLEASE ask the same question many times. I enjoy the sarcastic remarks.

did this mission easily. cl 80 MBH/Mpistoleer/4-0-0-4 Rifleman, was only buffed with vasarian brandy, took them out with only loosing a little more than half health, wearing wookie assualt armor, and using an advanced laser rifle, taking out 3 at a time on the patrol missions, without much trouble, as long as you play smart, you should do it easily

IMO you really need an elite ranged profession for the patrol quest. The earlier sets are fine with whatever, but as the circle widens the Shadows are often camped on top of the local CL80 wildlife. With a ranged prof it's a lot easier to pull them off without drawing aggro from the wildlife. I find my MBH/MR template worked well for this.... /maskscent, thread the needle, kill the Shadows, bug out on vehicle (parked about 100m away to avoid Shadow area attacks). Good Composite/Assault armor definitely helped.

I had the sith shadows appear again this morning, and all I have to say is BULLCRAP. When they appeared, they did 1000-1500Dmg a hit, then they incapped me. So I got up, healed and fought them, and THEN they were ONLY DOING 80-150Dmg a hit!

Come on Devs! This is a giant bug in the game and you refuse to do anything about it! For some reason when they appear and your a TKM they do a INSANE amount of damage, and after your incapped it resets to normal.

This isn't fair! I waited forever to become a Jedi not just to be kicked around by a stupid game bug! (Waited THREE DAYS for sith to show up)
