Thread: Focus: Phase 1 Issues Unable to start quest(s)

Hello everyone,


It has come to my attention that several players are unable to initiate the Phase 1 quests in Aurilia since the NPC's are stating that players are already "busy" with another quest, when they are in fact not.


I have a theory that it could have something to do with a bug where the Phase 4 Village Assault quests are not getting cleared properly once completed and need to "fail" when the next Phase comes around in order to be cleared.


Regardless, I need to collect more info on this to properly report it to the devs (I've already sent them a "heads up" on the issue though). So if you're experiencing this issue please report the following in this thread:

Ok, seems that I am the first to post:

Character Name: Tear Hunter
Server: Infinity
Quest Giver NPC: Whip
Date: since 02.03.2005 (phase change)
Time: always
Time Zone: CET

Unlocked Phase4 branch and trained it completely during Phase4.
confirm: not getting cleared properly after Phase changed and need the "fail" messages in order to be cleared.
No system messages received.

Did not get a message saying I failed to defend the Village.


Been happening since Phase 1 shifted and its starting to irritate me since this is my 6th phase and I have all the xp banked...

All npc s tell me your busy...I have no missions unlocked enhanced reflexes in phase 4.

Yes I logged in one day and got a system message which said the outlaws and pirate quest were failed, which cleard it right up. Thanks SonG for your help.

Character name- Zabral

NPC- All npcs except the Capt.

Date- started right after the phase shift , I got the message about failing the mission but problem persists.


I just started towards the end of phase 4 so I thought it was normal but apparently not.

Date. Any day.

Says I'm busy with another mission and to come back when my plate is empty. I did the whip quest on the first day of the phase and finished it. So does this mean you can only do one unlock per phase? I didn't even want to fill the thing in, just wanted it unlocked.

You can onlyaccept one quest per phase.

I had troubles with Captain Sargillo in Phase4, I unlocked the previous phase4, and have completed all of my quests. A CSR was kind enough to unlock this last phase4 as I was unable to get the quest without help however I find myself unable to get a quest yet again. Ahhh yes and Whip says I'm busy with another quest, when I do not have any quests open, village or otherwise

Yeah, frustrated is the right word.

My game is bugged for 10 days now. I have sent 2 tickets already (2nd one after not getting an answer for 8 days). Posted several times but no replies at all. Not even an information about what and if something could be done about it. Does anyone even care about this bug?
Or is it just luck getting the phase changed on your character? Only heard about 2 people which got the bug fixed.
If I would work like this in my job I wouldn't even get 10 days before getting fired.
