surely it would be a better idea to release it after the film (so everyone wants to play it after watching) or at least at the same time as the film. releasing it before the film would be a bit of a pants marketting ploy

1) all the previous gamers go to the stores and buy it out.

2) MOVIE HITS

3) STORES ARE RESTOCKED AFTER WE BUY IT

4) MOVIE FANS GO HIT THE STOREs

ah, i see what you mean. but i found 1 flaw in your methods. when the CU hits, everyone who plays SWG will stop playing and the stores will not sell out

actully.. after hearing about the cu . and getting some insiders to leak a lil bit . heh.

Theres only a few reasons some ppl are not goin to like it.

1) U can no longer be the ULTIMATE DESTORYING MACHINE by ur self. Which will bring back a strong community feel.

2) Everyone will take part in GCW with the new patch due to combat balances. Combat will be more intresting now and each profession will have theyre own techniques to doing it. 1 TKM might like Vibro's still and like the knockdowns with unarmed 3 while another mite like the new Melee weapon while using new moves.

3) GRINDING WILL BE 10x AS HARD ( just my thoughts ) No longer should a combat profession be mastered in (1) DAY !.


I think this will restore life to the game, More group activies , more ppl playing theyre role in the GCW INSTEAD OF SAYING NO I NEED TO GRIND THE PERFECT PVP TEMPLATE b4 I CAN ( many ppl believe so )

As much as we all hate change over time we will see how much better ithink this will make things.

there are plenty of group based MMO's out there, I don't pay to play at other peoples convenience, waiting around for a group before you can play is just dull, & un-exciting, It better be balanced, group & solo, 50/50, If it becomes more group orientated, then i will quit, & i know alot of other people like me will do so also, which is a shame, Because i really do enjoy this game more than any other MMO that i play, Purely because i can play at my own pace, on my own time, on my own & not have to rely on other , to do what i should be able to do by myself.


Group based game content = No thanks

Balanced form of group/solo game content = Yes please.

mrkalador if u were around back b4 composite 80 % and 2500 doc buffs u would relize its not as bad as it sounds and quite fun at time
