For free unlocks, do I have to wait for the phase that's associated with that skill to be trained? or can I train at any time along with doing the quest for that particular phase to unlock my additional skill.
Any feedback would be great
Thanks!!

I had three free unlocks and I was able to train them in what I wanted. I then used the current phase unlock to get my fourth after I completed the required quests.

believe me you are going to want as many skill points going towards you jedi not fs skills. So stick with the 6 branches

I am assuming that I can "unlock" as many tree's as I want as long as I have not filled 6 of them...is this correct? Or when I get 6 unlocked do I have to fill those 6 ?

You aren't required to level up as you go. If you want to unlock each branch prior to leveling, you can. Most choose not to since it's such a huge time sink to begin with.

You can unlock as many branches as you want. You can fill as many branches as you want. You can train branches you have unlocked at any time. When you get 6 filled you begin the exit quest and you can STILL unlock/train more if you like.

Hi,
Do you have to work all four boxes in a branch before you can unlock a new branch?
Thanks,

On the same note, you said you can only unlock one branch per phase. I did melee defense quest and enhanced reflexes and combat prowess is unlocked. is this normal, will all branches show up that are available in that phase?

The ingame skilltree display shows all 4 branches for a discipline once you've trained the novice box, and doesn't differentiate between locked and unlocked branches. It's in the FS list of issues, I think, requesting that locked branches be "greyed-out" in the skilltree to indicate you can't train them.
I think the entries in your quest journal will indicate which branches have been unlocked, if I'm not mistaken.
