Then you need to convert a LOT of XP.
I just finished the grind myself.

You have to go to the trainer by the main gate once you speak to him he will then train you in novice combat prowess which contains melee defense tree

No, you must train in Novice Enhanced Reflexes
The Novice Combat Box is for Melee Accuracy, Melee Speed, Ranged Accuracy and Ranged Seed

I completed my mission to kill the 75 sith, and unlocked theMelee Defense tree. But when i went back to the Capt, and talked to him nothing happened. Shouldnt he have given me something? B/C when i go to my skills, and look at the skills i have, i see Force Progession but i dont see a tree that says Melle Defense, now either there is something wrong or im a noob that doesnt know what im talking about. Should there be a tree that i can look at and see how much exp i need to get higher in the tree? B/C thats what i thought was going to happen, i thought it was gona look similar to the regualr trees. And my other question is, during Phase 1 i was asked to rescue the survivors, and attack the sith bases. Are these Sith easier then the ones attacking the village? Or are they the same, Outlaws with 12k HAM, Pirates 16k HAM and Thugs 50k HAM? So should i see a tree that says Melee Defense, and are the sith in Phase 1 eaisier? Please respond to this question b/c i need some help. Thanks alot and may the force be with you.

first, check your force sensitive journal. you might of missed the unlock message, it should say in your journal "unlocked etc..." you recieve no actuall reward for the melee defense quest, just the unlock. he wont evne recognize the fact that youv unlocked it.
and yes, the phase 1 thugs/outlaws/pirates are considerablly easier. hard enough to require armor still, but nowhere near as tough as the phase 3 or 4 people.

There isn't a singular tree for any of the branches. Like the others that have posted here, all of the force sensetive branches are inside of 4 skill trees. You know how you look up skills for other professions and things like that? Well look at the normal profession area (artisan, brawler, marksman) and you will see ones that say "Combat Prowess" "Enhanced Reflexes" "Hightened Senses" and "Crafting Mastery" They aren't in the force progression branch. That is just a tracker for moving up in Jedi ranks and stuff like that. Hope I could help

another way to see what you have unlocked. when you go to the village to exchange exp with Peamos, there is an option on: What aspects of the Force am I ready to learn. he'll give you a list on what you have unlocked. I do it like everytime i go there...just for kicks, but also to show off that i have 6 unlocked. nothing wrong with a little gloating, heck i earned it.

Also, there is no reward for Enhanced Reflexes for Phase 4. Is a real bummer

After I get my 6 branches can i replace any of them with another branch? For example i have ranged acc, but wanted melee acc can i do the quest for melee acc and drop ranged?
Also I have read the faqs how well do the bonus from the lines actually help in jedi skills?
