Thread: I have several questions regarding Jedi

Someone correct me if I'm wrong on anything I'm about to say.
Your character will become a jedi, plain and simple, its why you grind and whyyou invest hours of your life, to become a jedi.
Your second character is so that you can support your jedi and/or have someone else to play if you need to take a break from your jedi. Pretty much everyone that did the village to actually do what was intended and become a jedi (instead of just wanting 2 characters) uses their alt as a support - Master doc/entertainer or a second pvp character so they can pvp non-jedi still if they want.
If you want a second character why dont you just buy another copy of swg and pay another subscription.
1.) I'm sorry but, thats not why I went through the FS quests, not ragging on youbut different people do it for different reasons. Just try not to assume thats why everyone who did grind though did it to becomea Jedi.I simply did it because I wanted the FS skills for crafting. You have to kind of think that most of the FS crafting skills are probably not 'meant' for Jedi's. I mean I'm sure there are meant to be Jedi crafters, but I'm guessing that most (not all) people are likely to want Jedi more for the combat aspect.I was also hoping to add a 2nd character slot myself.
2.) I already have a 2nd copy of the game and have an alt (that I will use as support.) So you see I don't want to have to pay for a 3rd copy and a 3rd account. Don't you kind of think thats enough?

SniperRedFox wrote:Basically the question is... can I transfer ownership of all items like Vendors, House, Harvesters, Turrets to my 2nd account and have the items in the house and vendors remain intact? Also, can you have 3 residents to one house?Lastly, I know I should put this in the merchant section, but if I have 2 "owners" or ppl with access to the vendor, does that person/character also get 150 xp an hour for that vendor, or does only the owner of the vendor get it?
You can transfer everything except vendors, intact, if you can log both on at the same time. You both have to be standing near the terminal to transfer the building or harvester. Vendors cannot be transferred. They can remain in the house where they currently are when it's transferred, and all items will remain on them, but ownership of them is retained by the merchant who dropped them. Everything else in the house will transfer to the new owner.
Only the vendor owner gets xp. People who have admin access to the building cannot access your vendor, other than as a buyer, nor get xp from it.

Ok, i was on allakhazam.com trying to see if I had enough Skill Points available to get my 2nd character. My question is this, it shows Jedi Initiate as needing 250 skill points, yet I was told that you aren't given your second slot till after Padawan.
So, when I get my second slot, and even before that, does that mean that I have to surrender all of my current characters skills just to get the 2nd slot? Right now he is an Architect 4203, Merchant 3214, Rifleman 0100... I have 7 active vendors also, along with plenty of stuff from Architect.
In order to get my second slot, that has to mean that I have to give up all of my vendors, all of my Architect, Merchant, Rifleman, Artisan, Marksman skill points just to become Jedi Initiate?
I cannot afford to give up all of that just to get a second character. It would kill my income, kill all of my hard work, etc...
Could some1 clarify this for me, whether or not I need to give up every single skill just to get Initiate? I thought those who had second slots, could keep their former skills as long as they had enough skill points available?
I was doing this to get the second character slot, however I can't do this if I have to give up my months of grinding and money spending/earning just to get a 2nd character slot, that would be the ONLY character that would be crafting and bringing in income.
Please help, thank you.
That character is mistaken you move you skill poinst in to jedi a few at time just like if you were tochage yourcharacter for Architect or Swordsman or someing, you don't need 250 skill points for jedi Initiate.

That is the old system.
In the old system you would unlock your second slot. Your second slot would then require you to spend all 250 skill points for jedi initiate. In that system, you could -ONLY- have jedi skills. In this system you can have more so when you're attacked by a BH you have a back up profession to use if your jedi skills aren't good enough yet. Hope this makes sense.

So let me get this straight...
I currently have 42 skill points to use for anything. Is that enough to get me to Jedi Padawan and get my 2nd slot? And can I go farther into Jedi Padawan w/o having to surrender Architect and Merchant?
Thank you.
