Wanna know whats even worse about it? By the time you complete all that grinding tounlock your Jedi, thats when your REAL grinding begins. By the time you actually become full template Jedi, SOE will have nerfed them down to a regular profession in terms of power.

So I agree with you, whats the point? Is there one?

Yeah, no point in complaining, if you dont want to grind out Jedi, no one is making you.

ok let me spit some numbers down

175,000 + 250,000 + 350,000 + 450000 = 1,225,000 exp for one complete branch.

1,225,000 x 6 = 7,350,000FS exp to complete the fs grind.

7,350,000 x 30 = 220,050,000 standard exp.

Ponder that for a moment. 220 MILLION standard exp needed to reach jedi with the new 30:1 ratio.

if a person caps a profofession at 1.2 mill, say they have 2 professions and they have a cap of 300k combat xp. One long trip to the village pays about 90000 fs xp, to cap in combat and 2 professions takes about 4 hours of HARD grinding in a FULL gurk group, assuming someone played 4 hours a day 7 day a week, that's 81.6 ! Days of grinding gurk! omfg i don't have the time nor interest in killing gurk that long!,

if the old combat 3:1 were applied it would be more like, 180000 fs xp per maxed out xp trip to the village, was already an amazing 40.8 days of grinding gurk! That was already making me to decide to give up and quit swg.

now if they were to just make nades like 1/10th thecopmbatxp and put combat at 3:1 again it would get rid of naders and make getting to jed more reasonable.

it takes all day of hunting to get maxed out on combat xp and we get what a lovely 10k fs for it! it was almost worth it to hunt all day and get 100k xp for combat,

im venting some steam caus this one takes the cake for soe justmakingtheir player's mad!

lets go over this, 1st currenly the warren is broke, so you cant get fs, 2ndly phase 3 is totally broken again prolonging the path to jedi, 3rdly it takes 81 days to get the fs xp you need, 4th ly when you get jedi the frs is turned off so you cant go any further,

is soe trying to get rid of jedi, because we all can agree there are to many, but they are going the wonrg way about this!

it was too easy, so they made it harder like it was pre-pub 9.

ok il let you all know im alredy of my xp before the change, i have 4 mill left to get, will take me 53 days well ive been working on jedi sol long i cant give up now!

admitdly i was quite pi**ed about the changes when they came into affect but now im all for it, yes the grind isnt as hard as the holocon grind, but atleast it is slightly more difficult, even with the new conversions its not that hard to cap combat, im mbh/mcm so i have carbines 900k, rifles 900k,pistols not sure never use them, and a 900k combat xp cap, i can cap both rifles and carbines in around at hour on dant with a good group and have 180k xp, now with each visit of rifles/carb caps i get 60k+6k from my combat xp so 66k a visit, im perfectly happy with this

What all these idiots who say don't complain can't seem to understand is IT IS STILL A JOKE TO BE JEDI. This does not make it harder, only more annoying. I am willing to bet that 99% of the people who are saying not to complain are those who have either already done this, or are not going Jedi.

And to say if you don't like it, don't go Jedi is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I play this game with the one goal of becoming a Jedi, as do the majority of the players. To make it not twice as hard, but 10 times as hard (probably more when you figure in the walking to and from the Village) its definately worth complaining about. If you don't want to hear our complaints, DO NOT READ the threads. OMG stupid people annoy me so much.
