Thread: SO WHAT HAPPENS TO US WHO WORKED SO HARD!
I have been a happy swg player for 9+ months now, I have mastered only 2 professions Commando and Master Image Designer, Now why would a 9+ month old chat olny have 2 master profession badges? Il tell you why, After Mastering Image Designer in the first 2 weeks of game play i decided i wanted to be a jedi, I started working on getting fs. i became fs in one week and then the old man came, then the sith, then i went to the village for the first time, i had one of my guild mates show me around, 7 months 2 weeks later i have 7 phases unlocked and 5.2 mill fsxp. Now i could have mastered about 10 professions in the time it took me to get one fs skill mastered. I worked hard for 7+ months on grinding gurk every day for a average of 4 hours a day. Grinding gurk was very unfun and i olny did it knowing i would someday be jedi. I spent a lot of my evtra time getting clear crystals, to beable to make a ok saber. I currently am about 27 days from jedi in the old system.
So now with these changes, Now it seems that all 7 or so munths of killing gurks and other npcs was a waste of time and my 5 mill fs xp and 7 village unlocks are no good? Thase Village unlocks are hard, and mastering one fs skill takes about 156,666,666 regular xp! i spent alot ALOT of time getting this far to jedi to suddely realize i get NOTHING
To fix this SOE PLEASE LEAVE THE VILLAGE OPEN TO ALL PEPLE WHO HAVE STARTED THE VILLAGE and give them the vet jedi reward, just simply do not let anymore into the old sysyem by not spawning the old man. just tell new people to go to the new sysyem whatever it is
You get Jedi, isnt that what you have been grinding for?
Or are you going to complain that you didnt get your 2nd character slot?
Not flaming, just curious.
If he does not have 1 box in jedi he cant /respec to jedi to the new jedi system

thats not true. If you dont have 1 box in Jedi, you dont get the Elder Jedi tag with the Elder Jedi items. But its been interpreted that you can respec to Jedi right away, whether you are jedi now or not

thats not true. If you dont have 1 box in Jedi, you dont get the Elder Jedi tag with the Elder Jedi items. But its been interpreted that you can respec to Jedi right away, whether you are jedi now or not

Piss Off. I just love how all these **edit** jedi that ground up during the double and quad xp, with grenades, and combat xp think that they somehow are worth more than the rest of us that decided to simply play the game during that time.
Fact is this got dropped on us all, and if we had more than 10 days to grind out the rest of the xp we could do it, but with all the bloody nerfs theres simply no way.

i believe the big question back then was...when will this combat upgrade come live?!

RakovMoonrider, movealong and troll elsewhere - you have nothing constructive or sensible to offer here. Your time going Jedi is not worth 'more' than the time others have put into this game. The fact is that igrinding is harder now.
