Thread: Banking more xp in a tree then can actually be used... bug?

Having accidentally banked 30k fxp into Combat Prowess when I already have enough fxp to master it, I thought this may be a bug...
I'm not too bothered about my mistake... just wondering.

it's not a bug, there doesn't seem to be a cap on how much FS xp you can bank.

Not a bug, so I would take advantage of it. In fact, anyone doing the grind should take advantage of it and cap as much as you can. I know a guy who went through and grinded everything when the village first started between phases 1 and 2. He had over 6 million banked. With the CU coming and the unknown impact, just start grinding now.

The bug being that you can bank more xp than you can actually use?

I don't think that is a bug.. not even banking more then you can use (ie. 5 million for a complete tree)
It doesn't work like the normal professions (thank god) which cap at aprox double the amount needed for the highest skill you have.
also.. if, after becoming a jedi, you want to change the FS skills, you need to fill a 7th branch to change it with one of the others (you need 6 at all times). banking xp will be very handy with that in mind also.

i havent heard for certain that there is a cap for fs exp, some say its as much as 10 million, wouldnt be of much use, so if anyone does ever cap, please post it

Cap for all FS xp or cap for each type? Meaning can I have 5.1 Combat Prowess, 5.1 Enhanced Reflexes, etc. etc. Or do they all add up to one big total?

I believe it's for all fs, not each type, as their is no difference between the fs branch's as far as the fs xp goes.
