Thread: Help Phase IV Healing Quest!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Folks,
I'm a respec Novice Doc and have signed up for the healing quest in Phase IV to heal 50 players while they are trying to slaughter the Sith Baddies running into the village. I am having several problems and questions that I hope you guys can help me with....
First: Do I have to be grouped with the folks running missions in order to get credit for my 50/100 heals? Will I get a notification of how many heals left the same way I did when I ran this mission as a combatant?
Second: Why am I getting "Invalid Target" about 70 percent of the time I am trying to heal anyone? Can I only heal Rebs since I'm Reb? Is there some bug causing this?
Third: Do I have to be grouped to get med xp while doing this?
Yes, I have looked through both the Medic and Doc forums for answers but the FAQs don't seem to address the questions I have much less the Phase IV quest questions.

I haven't gotten to go do phase 4 yet but from what I know about master medic is that it has an area heal that will help you out, I think it is on of the trees to get you to CM, but I am going there with Master doc medic 4-4-4-4 and master swords, and I think it should go quite quickly as long as I don't have to be in a group. Just know that when you heal you argo the sith also so be ready to fight if you have to.

I am not 100% sure but I did get 100 heals in 2 sith attacks so I am pretty sure.
1. You do not have to be in group you just have to heal someone that is fighting a sith (not certain, I tried to stay near my group and heal them as much as possible just incase).
2. Are you a combatant? A lot of people are combatants and you will not be able to heal them even if you are the same faction but on leave, neutral, and of course you can't heal them if you are of the other fation in any way. I suggest you become a combatant (not special forces though) and do the trial that way. I only got 25 or so heals the first sith attack because I was not a combatant, I picked up 75 or so the 2nd time after I set myself to combatant.
3. You only get medical xp for healing if you are in group and only when the target gets killed.
Suggestion: Use CM and not Doc. CM has an area heal that is very helpful for this quest. Use Bacta Spray while standing near several people who are fighting sith. You can rack up a lot of heals very fast this way. I would suggest you get a group togeather, have your group stand in a close formation at one spawn point then you just use area heal every time you get sith attacking.
Take ya 2 hours and you'll be done... if you're not done yet.

I had the finding her problem because the server reset later than expected. She should be under the tent when the server shifts. Also, just learned (I'm doing the quest now) the droid under the tent will give you your "body count" of how many you have helped.

she is walking around by the wall, sometimes she ends up in the wall. So just wait over where she should be and she'll eventualy show up.
she may not stop walking for you so select her and either use ` to pull up radial or use /conv
you may be able to do /conv [name] I'm not exactly certain if this'll work.

This is the tree that I wish to unlock this time around...(secondtime around 4box Melee def 
) Cept the fact that everyone tells me that im busy with other villagers quest.. Anyone else get that?

I would also like to know if there is any counter anywhere to check. Or we just wait until we get a missions success message?

I found out how. Talk to the surgical droid and he tells you how many people you have healed so far. After two raids I healed 137 people.
You then talk to the lady to get the unlock and if you have healed more than 100 people you talk to her again and she gives you the bacta tank.

have you been in a group? .. i healed alot while two raids, but the droid still tells me i have healed 0 people

I believe your group also has to do 'majority damage' on the kill for you to get a point. Once I figured out the system, I got 83 counted heals in just 1 wave.

I was in an 8 person group yes. A good tactic is to set up the group and then wait outside one of the gates for the wave to come. If you go inside, especially with a smaller group you will not survive long. Picking them from outside the gates is best way. Bacta spray works the best. Also take some mind food or spice to help you. I would run out of mind allot.
