Thread: Returning player starting again tomorrow looking to become a jedi

Hey im starting a new character tomorrow i havent played since about Jan. and looking to see how long it takes to become a jedi and what are the best jobs to go at jedi with and also if anyone has a jedi if they have any advice.

If I were you I would go:
Get these skills first...
TKM
Commando 4000 (Grenades)
Then follow the guide to glowing, it's not difficult at all..Get a few POI's, few Theme Park badges and your glowing..(http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=game_guides&message.id=220959)
Wait for the old man, the sith then go to the village and begin your path to Jedi Initiate...(Follow this: http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=Forcesensitive&message.id=33406)
(The Commando 4000 is for the grenades...FS grinding, a fun thing...Grenades will help you blow the hell out of nests quickly and get your FS exp capped so you can convert it)
You'll have Jedi with in a YEAR! (hehe, vague I know)
Really it's as simple as pie, just takes a long time, with the phases and all..
Really should just read the stickies, it practicaly holds your hand up to Jedi...

Hey thanks for tthe info im almost master in unhanded brawler so ill master TKM and get commando after I master TKM then be on my way to FS then to Padawan!!!

You better grind fast before the CU hits and makes it harder to grind.

listen before you start take in hand that unless you dont go to school or have a job or any responsibilities and no one to care for thet it will take you probably 2 weeks to just get glowy unless you have a but load of money and can pay like a group to help you beat 5 vette missions in under 2 days then it will take you a week.

You can easily do nyms,jabbas and the reb or imp themepark along with both warrens in one day. Couple of buffs max. You do not need the corvette.

What I forgot to mention is the above posts are right,you will never get the FS xp needed for the 6 trees before the CU hits unless you grind about 18 hours a day for the next 3 weeks.

How much money do you have exactly? Its going to cost you at least 5 mil in grenades.

well uhh right now i only have 300k but im getting more everyday i started a new character on saturday and im almost a TKA.

Unarmed 1 - teras kasi master should only take 1 and a half days max to be honest..
