Thread: Do pre Patch Profession badges count for FS ?
short question:
I am trying to become FS and I am now at step 4 (surge).
My problem is, that the only thing I am missing is
one more content badge (Doing that now). So I seem to
be missing one step somewhere. I got an increas when
I did the easy POIs, the jedi POIS , and the hard
POIs. So I guess it might be a problem with my profession.
I mastered my medic profession like 12 months ago.
And I have a badge for it. But that was pre imperial
crackdown.
Any1 an idea if I have to grind for a master again,
or what else can be wrong? I read about the /che
command sometimes showing wrong info, but the last
post with this info was kinda old, so I thought it
should work now
Thx

Only ELITE professions count toward the FS badges. I have 4 characters, 2 with a mastered elite, 2 without. Of those only the ones with ELITE badges have any connection with the force. The 2 crafters feel NO connection with the force.
You don't need an Elite. I got Glowy with Master Marksman.
If your other characters aren't glowing you are probably missing so of the required badges to glow.

No any professions badges do.
But you still need the 3 Jedi POI, 5 content badges, Theed Librarian and a few more POI badges wouldn't hurt.
An Elite profession won't make you glowy. If you did holo before the patch you will get credits for them once you glow but you have to achief glowing with the new system first.

I dont expect those characters to be Glowy, I know exactly what it takes to be glowy, already am on my main. What I was stating is that they have the message. NO sense of the force not th emessage you feel somethign slightly different about yourself. They have a master basic profession, but have none of the other requirements. With so many stating that they got force sensitive with out being a master of an elite profession though, i dont know what the original posters problem would be.
On my main I did notice that badges that were once there suddenly poofed (Noteably Ben Kanobi's home) and I had to go back and re do that POI and was immediately Glowy. When I came back to SWG after about a 6 or 7 month break, I checked my force status, Faint Sense, got a friend to email me the list and checked each item off, I had all the POIs (which I already knew because I went on a POI binge the day they started working) When I expected to be glowy and wasn't I went back and checked again, the saarlac pit, ben's house, and one of the Dant POIs was missing from my badge list now.. they were indeed there before because they were the POIs on the list that I checked off (glad I had others so that Bens home was the only one I needed.) Not sure how a badge up and poofs, and I have never heard of that happening before but oh well, glad it wasnt Jabbas theme park. So my suggestion to the original poster is to Check every badge carefully and make sure they are in Yellow on your character sheet, or do what I do and target yourself ctrl+1, /examine and read them there, so as you dont read one that is in the you do not have this list)
