I recently bought a Ryyk blade from a reputable crafter, a nice sword at that, and when i went to try it out...i was hitting 50. i found that odd becuz the sword dmg was way higher than that. so i tried restarting the game, just to save it and stuff. wheni came back, the sword disappeared. hmmm, i thought to myself. so i told the crafter that the sword disappeared on me, and he was kind enough to give me another one. (thx Craftiey) and the same thing happened AGAIN! i can see myself using the sword, can my character is holding it, but im doing barely any dmg, as if i was using no weapons at all. once again i restarted the game, and poof, its gone again. at this point i was red hot, and told the crafter again. (now it isnt his fault, i have bought from him before) he told me that i was possibly bugged. i dont know what is wrong with my character, but can anyone tell me or give me a decent explanation of why this is happening and if this is happening to other players too. thankyou for your time. i play as Duo Maxwell on Chilastra. peace

I had the same thing happen to me lastnight. I bought a nice ryyk blade from Kammi, and still had my old one. i equipped the new one and was doing real low dmg (like I was doing it unarmed). I tried to re-equip my old one and the graphics showed that I had both equipped. It was odd, so i used my old one, did the dmg I was supposed to. Switched back and the same thing happened. It was late (or early am i should say) and I was too tired to care. I logged and went to bed. This afternoon I logged on and the new sword was still there but my old one disappeared. Now I don't believe that the sword I had or the newly bought one were illegal in any way. And I was gonna give my old one (which i had for a week now with no probs) to a fellow up-&-comming fencer. Now I can't cause it poofed. I just want to know what the heck happened?

/bug it guys. Sounds like a growing problem..

This happened to me on Bria. I bought a ryyk blade from an imperial sympathizer west of Bestine. I thought he'd get his anyways in the end, but that he wasn't inherently evil, just trying to do business. Anyway it took forever to retrieve it from the vendor. When I finally retrieved it, it was in my hand.....at least the graphic was in my hand. I was actually hitting unarmed combat. All of you that had the low damage scores...what type of XP did you get?....anyway, then I equipped my gaffi stick and the numbers went back to normal..BUT the graphic for the gaffi stick and the ryyk blade were on top of eachother. I sent an /bug report/complaint in and then tried logging out and back in.....the blade was gone. I sent another /bug complaint in and called it a night. The next day, the ryyk blade had reappeared in my inventory and no problems since. I even bought another blade as backup a few nights ago and no problems.

i guess it is a common prob. i havent played for 2 weeks since the incident. i will /bug it and will try again to see if it reappears. hope it works =/. *fingers crossed.

It will come back the next day.

I /bug'd it yesterday and alas, it was in my inventory this morning when I checked on my pets growth. Took 3 days to come back. =) Never-the-less, I am happy.

Happened to me, also with a Ryyk blade. It came back after i logged out for an hour.
