Ok, quick question here.

On weapons the percent chance to wound, is that just a regular wound (like the black part of the HAMbars)?

yep, I find when I use 1handHit2 on lesser creatures often one of their hams will get heavily drained and a third to a half of it will turn black with wounds! Haven't noticed it in PVP too much yet though, although I only duel rarely.
