Well I amclosingin onNovice Fencer, and looking at the Skill Tree, you need about 400,000 total points of Combat XP to get Master Fencing Finesse. Now right now I have Expert Ranged Weapons Support which took about 9000 points of my Combat XP, but that isn't much. I have Master One-Handed sword, and I am a Novice Smuggler with skills 0,1,1,0.

I want to know how YOU got the Combat XP to get Master Fencer, because in my character template on Allakhazam with all the Fencer Skills except for Fencing Finesse 1,2,3, and four, just because it seems like such a daunting task to get 400,000 points of Combat XP when right now I only have about 10,000!!!!!

Thanks,

Rob

Well, you need around 4 million 1H exp to hit Master Fencer as well as around 400k Combat exp...so it comes out pretty close. Just don't worry about it.

I wouldn't worry about it either. I've been building my fencer skills tier by tier and it's easy to see that while it may not be great, I can get the finesse skill after or before getting the three other skills. I hadIntermediate Finesse after going through Stances & Grips, Technique, and Footwork and should have advanced before or right when I get the last of the 2nd tier fencing skills... so yeah really you shouldn't worry about combat xp it'll come as you progress.

And trust me, everything becomes a lot easier once you're a novice fencer. Xp is so much easier to get because you're stronger. Just be sure you have a good weapon.

On good days in Fort Tusken I can get 100k fencing xp. It's easy. Whee! Combat is fast too.

Great contribution to the thread Talcius. You didn't perhaps get that combat exp by using frag grenades did you?

Rock, I've heard rumors that if you use a frag grenade on certain creatures, it causes a pretty severe bleed, and that if you let this bleed kill them, you get full combat exp for the damage done as well as combat exp for the kill as usual. It's never worked for me, only tried it twice. I figure I'll get the combat exp eventually.

Mm...the tactic goes that you bleed first with your primary, then you start spamming grenades. Because your primary did no damage, all the bleed damage is attributed to the grenade, which will in turn give you more combat exp.

If you are a Rebel or Imp., you can use your faction points for combat exp.But I think this is the last solution for this.I mean use this if you have really a big problem about combat exp.
