Thread: Master Fencer/Master Doc Best chance for a Fencer?

So, my respec period is coming to an end. I'm desperately trying to find a template that is good in PVP. The best one I've done so far is:


Master Fencer

Master Medic

Master Brawler

Swords 0/0/0/4

TKA 4/0/0/0


It's been pretty good so far. So far, I've put up a good fight or won every duel I've had with other melee characters. Ranged is a different story. My new fencer wep also really helps me. But.. I'm thinking what I might do is:


Master Fencer

Master Doc

Medic 4/0/4/0(?)

TKA 4/0/0/0

Brawler 4/4/4/0


Thats the general gist of the template im thinking about. Master Fencer, Master Doc, and squeeze in what I can of Brawler. From what I've seen, Master Docs do extremely well in PvP. I just need some input, I only have until Monday to find the template I want.

If you're gonna get tka 4000 you may as well find a way to squeeze 4100 in there for Advanced Center of Being. It's a huge benefit. Force of Will is nice, but it's not working currently.


My current template is 0004 Swords, master doc, and master fencer. 0004 swords adds a good amount of melee defense as well as giving Advanced critical shot. The base damage on that is higher than any fencer special and if it hits an actual critical it's like time and a half fencers hardest hit which is an awesome finisher.


I'm considering doc 4004 for infusion and buffs 2100 tka for powerboost and COB, and 0034 swords for advanced armor break and critical hit. I think this will be a good template.

This is what i ended with:


Master Fencer -- Master Brawler


Marksmen 0-0-0-4 (+15 melee def -- +20 ranged def)


Pikemen 0-0-4-0 (imp war cry--+50 melee def--+40 ranged def)


Swordsmen 0-0-4-0 (adv armor break-- +50 melee def---+25 ranged def)


TKA 4-0-0-4 (power boost +500 health---self heal wounds---melee def +40---ranged +15--general melee acc +50)


Novice Commando (+10 gen melee acc---+5 general speed---+10 melee def---+10 ranged def)



With out AA's or CA's


My DPS with Sword of KYY = 526


Offence:


Speed: 110 Accuracy: 260


Defence:


Melee: 290


Ranged: 225

I use Master Fencer/Master Doctor/Swordsman 0010 (Improved armor break)/TK 0100 (Improved cob) and it works good so far Main poblem so far is those damn cm's with Electrolyte Drain

Heres what I thought up lastnight. I might try it out. Any idea if it will bring me up to level 80?

I'm Master Fencer/Master Doc/2200 TKA and I haven't lost 1 on 1 with any non Jedis ever. I once walked into a fight against 4 non jedis and was able to take down 2 before they killed me.


Against Jedi, I hold my own. I usually can run them out of force if there is absolutely no outside interference, which doesn't happen often.

A pvp oriented Fencer/doc template:


mFencer, Doc 4-0-0-0, Swordsman 0-0-3-4, and either TKA 0-4-0-4, or TKA 2-1-0-4 (you want speed buffs from a friend before using this)


A pve oriented (cl 80) Fencer/doc template:


mFencer, Doc 4-0-0-0, TKM (great for group pve, except i hear that there is some type of armorhole for TKA/Fencers atm, should get fixed soon though)

I'd say the best would be Doc 4/0/0/0, Master Fencer, and TKM. That's extremely popular these days, lets you have great heals and puts you up to CL 80.

That won't give you CL 80.

A CL 80 requres a double Elite or Hybrid Mastery.
