With the new state effects annouced, I noticed that stun STOPs action regen. Now how does this affect our Binding Strike, is it a "Stun" attack or does it's own effect, IE: slowing action regen?

Basicly my question is are we getting an improvement on our special or are other professions with "stun" specials getting a much better DOT then us "DOT" specialists?

I don't think stun is suppost to stop action regen totally, but slow it down alot. I'll see what kind of testing I can do with it though. Thanks for letting me know.

If anything I know that at least Binding Strike there is no recovery move for this like Stun so once it is on it is on. Gotta check if stabilizers clear it or not.

but how much it last? and how much regen it stops?.. i see this special a little useless, because it dont have a notable efect.

It shuld be usefull if it stops a lot of regen, and last for 1 or 2 mins at least. (ok 2 mins is a little too much )

I may not be supposed to stop action regen, but thats what I heard, but I'm also not at Fan Fest. Anyway I pulled this info from the FanFest info from Rangers thread

states

the states dizzy, stun and blind were discussed. here is the breakdown.....

dizzy --- dizzy lowers your defenses a lot and your accuracy a little

blind --- blind lowers your defenses a little and your accuracy a lot

stun --- stun should STOP your action regen as long as you are stunned

mezzes --- mezzes like snare that affect movement SHOULD break on receiving damage. not root.

I will spend some testing time figuring out the exact numbers on it like I did with the bleeds.
