I am currently 4004 LS Novice Healer, Novice Powers, Novice Defender.

My thought was that maybe I would drop LS tech and do channel force and 2000 Healer. I was hoping someone could shine a little light on this decision for me.

So basically should I drop LS tech and do channel force and 2000 healer?

This type of business ethic continues at SOE because of their CEO, John Smedley. Little does the public know, that Star Wars Galaxies was scrapped in 2002 and redeveloped in 14 months from the ground up. In a meeting, they asked how they could get away with releasing such an unfinished product. John Smedley stated that people will buy it because it has a Star Wars name on it - and then laughed as they said they would complete the retail product (which consumers have already paid $49.99 for) with approximately 2 years of subscription revenue

doesn't sound like a bad idea, will give you less downtime, and help you keep alive in pve longer to grind. Its a trade off for losing that block...

basically the right idea - but try to grind as much as possible till end of respec time - so u can make usage of the respec effect - eg. NEnh+lvl2 skill=lvl3 skill. I would take heal3xxx.

Use 0400 LS, because that gives you armor break, which is extremely useful and allows you to do more damage per hit. Also, it's nerfed at the moment becuase of a bug (the lower version does more break than the higher version), so when they get round to fixing that (If ever) it will be even more effective.

Try and get Enhancer 0002 at least to give you channel force which allows you to boost your force bar back up. From there it's up to you where you spend the rest of your points....anything in the first healing tree is always very useful.

If you can, train your other novice box before your respec, it will give you one extra point to play with.

So for Grinding purposes in PVE should I drop the LS tech row and get channel and some healer??????

Yep .. channel (to regain force thru which you will burn way to fast) and healer (so you can combat decent CL critters)
will definatly make "The Grind" (Tm) a lot easier .. save downtime, easier to stay alive, thus make more xp :-)

okay i am looking for a little advice.

i have three templates that i am looking at.

this being the final respec...you understand my dilema

1. TKM/Mfencer/doc 4000--this one is pretty obvious. FOTM. tough to kill and pretty good tank.

2. TKM/Mfencer/Mswords--the potential is amazing. lots of heavy hitting specials. advanced armor break. improved head hit. etc...good defense and good accuracy and speed.

3. TKM/Mfencer/Mbrawler/some scout/Sword 0034--not a pure tank or a pure damage dealer. good accuacy and speed and some scout to help with harvesting (cash). also some sword specials.

not sure which way to go...help?

btw i am going to post this in multiple forums.

dam, so it looks like time to make the call on /respec.
not sure what to do here either, I'm thinking Master Commando / Brawler / Pikeman, but I sure would like to get Adv Armor Break.
But no, im going to stick with the triple master Melee Commando.

Go with what you like. I would say that right now not having some doc makes solo'ing and tanking a little harder, but that could change. No melee build is that much worse or better than another. What matters is your enjoyment.

Cob is the best defense youc an have, atm.

Power hammer is the best weapon for melee type atm.

Swords is the best damage melee class.

When cob is up your base numbers in defense don't matter much.

Intimidate is great..when it sticks.

I am basically set-up like your no. 3 but because of force sensitive boxes have lowered my scout and swords but with the added fs boxes it all works out. I'm very happy with this set-up.
